I have an appointment for one in August. I'm pessimistic that my car will pass, no matter how much I shell out.

I've started wondering if I can do without a car or whether I should consider buying a new one while the scrappage scheme is still available. I haven't got to grips with all the maths yet.

I was thinking about that as I was certain mine was going to fail it's MOT. It passed though so it was much cheaper to keep it runnintg another year. It also filts Mum, luggage and wheelchair in.

Mine passed today but then it should as it's only an 04

Our local garage has just started doing MOTs so it has an offer of £39.99

I should be going downstairs to refill my glass......

Shouldn't be here, we're going to an art exhibition in Leigh. Have to catch up tomorrow. Sue
Well this time I think we are back so thanks to Phil for all his efforts. What he had to go through sounds pretty horrendous.

Wow, I've just read Phil's account of the faults he has encountered and corrected!

Well done, Phil, and thanks for all your work.

I'm glad the site is back. I much prefer worrying from a distance and am grateful to those who had the task of putting it to rights
I may go for a coffee later. I should be going to try and find the paperwork to pay a fine. They changed the parking allowance from 2hrs to 1hr 30 mins without any of us noticing.
They are always sneaky about things like that. Have been out to lunch so don't feel like doing anything now! Sue
I should be taking Dane on his 10 min walk. He was doing well this morning but is back to falling over now. He has to go back to the vets for another blood test on Wednesday and then on Friday we have to make a discision. I hate all this and it just seems unfair.

It isn't easy to see faithful animals hurting. They give us unconditional love, endless joyful moments and are always there silently supporting us when we're down. They may not be human but they become a key part of the family.

What you're going through just now is really tough emotionally, megham, but just let your heart guide you.

It's what I've always done and never regretted. I find that there is a moment when something tells me that not to allow my pet to be put to sleep will just cause it more anguish and to keep it hanging on without any reasonable quality of life, would be me exerting my will selfishly.

But it's a case of when. He has improved, how much further could he improve? I don't want him suffering but I don't want to end it just because it upsets me to see him like that. I think I'll just hope he's much better by next Monday.
Now I know what's the matter, Meg. It's the same decision I had to make a few weeks ago and to be honest I still keep going over it in my mind wondering if there was something else I could have done and I still get upset. You're having a hard time of things at the moment, but I'm sure you'll make the right decision. Sue
