I should be watching the news, but an extra football session has been slotted in.

It's when they come and insist on taking his teeth for evidence. That's the trouble with surveys - the sting in the tale. Tell him not to worry, they'll probably give him an injection to lesson the pain.

I should be winding Sue and Ron up.

:D Would serve him right for being gullible. Sue

I should be looking at the photos I took with my nice new camera, showing on my nice new pc moniter. It's probably the first time since Darius started live performances that my lot have bought me presents rather than give me money so that I can go. Knowing Dave, if Darius does do something good, as long as it doesn't involve being away from home in the morning or at night because of Mum, he'll make sure I can get there.

Your 'nice new camera' takes very good photos ! Love the ones of E and L .
Lovely Photos Meg. It will be the first time this Christmas that I haven't had a Darius related present for my birthday as well. Usually it's something that has been auctioned for charity. Last year it was the poster that you had signed by all the cast members of GWTW and Ron had it framed for me, with pictures of Darius in costume. It has a special place in the bedroom. Sue
It'll be ashame that this may be the first year of nothing Darius related. It's such a shame that 'Gone with The Wind' and 'Guys and Dolls' both folded.
I should say that all those pics were taken on auto - something I don't usually do. It dealt really well with a very bright sky as background and on focusing on one item within a scene. It also dealt with artificial light. I was very pleased.

Is it a Canon camera again, Meg?

Yuo'll soon get used to the new settings.

No a Panasonic this time. My camcorder is Cannon and so is my bigger camera. This one replaces the Minolta that has just died after many years of service as a handbag camera.
Waiting for the plasterer to arrive. Half the back bedroom wall is at present, on the floor around Ron's feet. I did say wait for the plasterer but they always think they know best!! Sue
Mum's HNIP has been completed and her house is on the market. I should be tidying up my pc but I keep playing.

Have just been watching a pair of goldfinches in the garden, such beautiful birds, very exotic looking.

Should now be seeing to lunch.

This time of year we start with mixed flocks of small birds. I love the flashes of colour when they are startled.

I'd rather they sat still so I can admire them.

We used to love watching the huge flocks of starlings at this time of year, but they are fewer nowadays.

They are here as well. I think that some species seem to have cycles where they become less common.

I should still be tidying my pc but keep watching videos instead. Just rewatched Lincoln.

Have hung up a feeder of thistle seeds and have kept the binoculars handy but the pair of

goldfinches haven't been back. Should be watching Autumnwatch but turns out it is a repeat

of what I've already seen.

I was just looking at last winters pics. Dane is running around like a mad thing in them and the gulls are sailing down the river on a plate of ice. I hope the sun is still shining when the washing finishes.
