Need to alter two tunic tops . I've come to the decision that I must be malformed in some way because these days nothing seems to fit with out being altered. Perhaps it's something else that comes with age :(

I should be looking at the Tesco Clubcard offers (magazine yearly subscriptions etc) but I have mislaid

all the vouchers I have been saving. Have looked everywhere I can think of, but no luck. I hope

they turn up.

Should be going out to the shops but don't know if I can be bothered the weather is so bad, very windy with torrential rain. It was so bad during the night that it woke us both up. It's supposed to be even worse down south. Sue
Yeah it is Sue.......i live in Essex and its Awful wind and rain today!
Beautiful spring day here today. No need for coats. Apart from today and yesterday, it's been cold here this week. We had to put the heat on. I should be tidying up.

Talking about putting the heat on, Meg has reminded me I should be looking out a phone number to

book someone to service the boiler. I'd hate it to pack up when the really cold weather comes.

Ours went a couple of years ago just as the frost came. Luckily we found someone within a week. We have spare non central heating heaters all over the place as we couldn't risk Dave's Dad getting cold.
That's why we want to replace our boiler. It's working at the moment, but it's well past its sell by date (a bit like me!) and knowing our luck, it will go wrong when the very cold weather hits us.

Ours is old but we have been advised to keep it as apparently there are only three things that can go wrong, and

these can easily be replaced. Whereas the new boilers, we have been told, are much more complicated and

frequently give trouble.
