I should be de frosting the freezer. Last time I was at Mum's David forgot to $h!t the door properly twice. It makes it really difficult to defrost. I've left it dripping at the moment.

That's a job I hate. Been out to lunch with a friend who I used to work with, and now I really need to start the ironing. Sue

I'm sure I have an iron some where. I try and buy only things which don't need ironing if you hang them straight up after washing them

Well I'm into night mode again I should have gone to bed hours ago, now I'm wide awake and back on day shift tomorrow :(

I think I managed to get to sleep about 6am. I had run out of pain killers and didn't want to disturb people by going down stairs.

We need to clear the path of snow. We've had 4 inches in 3 hours! The roads are dreadful and everything has come to a stand still. Sue

I hope we don't have any tonight - at least I have everything for Christmas - just need to start wrapping presents.

Need to sort out daughter and her numerous bags. She finally got through from Durham. It looks like she's staying for weeks not days with the amount of bags she's brought! Sue

That sounds like Christmas - loads of bags. I'm glad she made it.

 

We woke up to a white day. No snow but lots of ice and white fog. Looked lovely but I was glad the sun came out and it all went away.

I should be sleeping. Went to a work party last night - good food, good company and good music and dancing. Got to bed at about 1.30 this morning but woke at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep.

Walked the dogs, done the fresh food shop....should be eating breakfast before cleaning and going out with cards and presents

I'm about to take Mum to the patisserie for cake and tea (coffee for me). I have just been reminded that I should be ready.

She certainly does. Shame I can't keep HER in check. I should be getting dinner -it just feels too early to start.

I have just bought my turkey from Somerfield, disappointed not to get a bargain but at least they had some - none in Tesco or Sainsburys.

Because I'd already got mine, Sainsbury's had some at half price. Still, I didn't feel like risking it this year.

I should be going out with my son and his girlfriend for 1 drink......I actually think I've had enough!

I've just found out that all my roasting pans are too big for the small cooker. I can do the turkey in the normal one but have no idea at the moment what I'm going to use for the lamb. So I came on here instead.
