And, the "part of the problem" award goes to.......

How about you try WALKING then for short journeys if you're so bloody opposed to public transport, or doing what the Dutch do, cycle short distances... You lazy sod..... Dont moan about Public transport if you refuse to even use it... I drown out the one or two annoying buggers by just whacking my earphones on and listening to a bit of Death Metal..... And, I think you'll find that you'll be surprised by the people on London buses, you actually get all walks of life on them.... I've been on buses full of City workers in their suits and ties.....

I live like not far off Sutton/Croydon so am right on the outskirts of London so no city workers in ties here lol, the buses seem to be mainly used by chavs with their r+b music, single parents with their screeching offspring, doddery pensioners who spend hours trying to find the right change and obese women from the working class, while I am going to sound a right snob here I just don't want to spend 45/60 mins in their company to go shopping or to go to Kingston etc I would much rather use my car :)

I can't cycle mate because of a long term knee injury, I could walk but in winter time when it is cold I just can't be bothered

God, man, I dont actually TALK to these types either, like I say, I got my music, and I got my reading.... I've gotten through LOADS of books just by reading them on buses on the way to work or uni in the six years I've been living in London..... The journey's what you make it mate... I make it a little enjoyable, some good music, a book....

Not that much different to the train home to Dundee.... Nice, 5 and a half hour journey, I got my music, my laptop, my mobile broadband, DVDs.... Sorted.....
