Posted June 12, 200619 yr Friday - only saw 2 bands cos of a history exam. Coheed and Cambria: Pretty good, alright showmen, the guy is a great guitarist, but the songs aren't really my thing. 7/10 Tool: Weird.... and the songs dragged, but still pretty good 6/10 Saturday - feeling rough after 3 hours sleep but pressed on relentless Down - alittle boring the singer (phil something from Pantera) was abit up his own arse. 4/10 Arch Enemy - Good songs, great riffs but the vocals put me off 7/10 Alice In Chains - quite good but quite boring 5/10 Stone Sour - got the crowd going ****ing crazy, good showmen with songs to go with it 8/10 Avenged Sevenfold - did the same as stone sour as well as a great cover of Pantera's "walk" 8/10 Trivium - Got the crowd even more nuts, amazing riffs, really enjoyed them 9/10 Korn - Johnathan Davis was in hospital with being ill so they got other singers, still pretty good 7/10 Metallica - ****ing amazing, new song sounded ok (better than the loads and st anger) and performed the whole of Master Of Puppets album with 100%, not a note out of place. 10/10 Went home on sunday as i didn't have money for food/drink as the cash machine didn't accept my card. i was feeling rough and i wasn't bothered about the bands playing so i went home.
