July 20, 201014 yr Urgh, Toy Story :puke: Not a fan. I actually don't think I've ever heard someone say that before  Now I do like a Disney Channel star or two but seriously it sounds like a bit of a crap cast. Edited July 20, 201014 yr by Swagger91
July 21, 201014 yr I didn't see the first one for ages... mostly because I put off by the title. Eventually I did and I thought it was really funny, big guilty pleasure. Meaghan Jette Martin was Tess Tyler in Camp Rock & Camp Rock 2Maiara Walsh was Ana Solis in Desperate Housewives and Meena Paroom in Cory in the HouseNicole Anderson was Macy Misa in JONASJennifer Stone was Harper Finkle in Wizards of Waverly PlaceClaire Holt was Emma Gilbert in H2O: Just Add WaterDiego González was Alex Santiago in Pretty Little Liars . I can see Maiara playing a part well. It'll be annoying if they play characters similar to the one's they're already famed for (i.e. Meaghan playing the nasty plastic and Jennifer/Nicole the airhead). I do think though if you can't make the sequel better than the original, you shouldn't bother... and I doubt it could match up the mighty original - especially if you go by the choice of cast.
July 21, 201014 yr ! You sick sick person. I actually don't think I've ever heard someone say that before  Now I do like a Disney Channel star or two but seriously it sounds like a bit of a crap cast. What? I've hated it since i was a kid
July 21, 201014 yr God you must have had an opressed childhood Phil. My little sister loves it though, and i didn't really watch films when i was younger. Give me Sabrina The Teenage Witch over Toy Story any day of the week. i think Silas needs to be put into a mental persons institution. Padded walls are fun. :heehee:

July 21, 201014 yr and you claim to be straight :s I am :/ . It came bundled with a love for the TV show Bewitched and then much later Charmed. I have a soft spot for that kind of tv show. And i am more than entitled to dislike Toy Story

And i am more than entitled to dislike Toy Story yeah not helping the "straight" side of things mate :P and i'm not sure if people are entitled to dislike Toy Story.
July 21, 201014 yr For Bewitched i blame my mother, she loved that show so when it was on tv we used to watch it. I know my Music, TV and Film taste doesn't help my case but its what makes me who i am and i love the films etc that i watch. I dont know why i hate it if that helps
July 23, 201014 yr Author Tina Fey has admitted that she regrets turning down the opportunity to make Mean Girls 2. The 30 Rock star, who wrote and starred in the 2004 original, told Movieline that she declined offers from Paramount to make the sequel, which started filming this month as a straight-to-DVD production. “It’s funny, because now it’s shooting and I don’t really have anything to do with it,” said Fey. "I haven’t read it or anything like that. Paramount was very generous and solicitous with me for several years, saying, 'Would you like to do it?' And at the time, I was like, 'They should just let it be what it is!'" She continued: “Now, its like, why not just do it? I should have done it, because now it’s happening anyway!” Desperate Housewives star Maiara Walsh, Nicole Gale Anderson, Jennifer Stone and Meaghan Jette Martin are among the cast for the new Mean Girls, which centres on two girls facing off against popular high-schoolers 'The Plastics'. So... um... Who's still excited for this?
July 23, 201014 yr Straight to DVD release, half the cast are from the Disney shows nobody watches - and no Tina Fey?
July 23, 201014 yr So... um... Who's still excited for this? :lol:I'm glad She hasn't in a way as the 1st is great, I can't see how she'd top it. The sequel will very likely be rubbish without her input, but the cast too have a young following. I wonder if Disney are being really tame on the writing because of who'll most likely buy it?! All depends the age rating they give it though too. Be funny if this Film turned out amazing now :kink:...
July 25, 201014 yr *yei/nei/tinafei Apparently Tina Fey ISN'T writing this after all. But still, I'm ironically taking the tinafei option on this as it MIGHT be being written by NU TINA FEY, for all we know. Plus, Lindsay Lohan was/is hardly regarded as an amazing actress at the time, so I shan't judge it just because it has Disney actresses...

Lindsay Lohan did have *somewhat* of a breakthrough in 'Freaky Friday' though - I'm not discrediting this film because of the actresses though, purely because of the lack of Tina Fey + the straight to DVD nature. There'll never be another Tina Fey
