December 17, 200816 yr They should duet with Cliff Richard. Give Cliff another number one and make him happy!
December 17, 200816 yr Author They should duet with Cliff Richard. Give Cliff another number one and make him happy! Yawn! Norma
December 17, 200816 yr it would be cliffs best way to get that number 1 he wants for this decade Exactly, then the old boy can say "I'm the only singer to have a number one in 6 decades, the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, and until he is 80, he will plead with his fans to get him a number one in the 2010s - how funny will that be to see!
December 17, 200816 yr cliff will do anything for that nummber 1 before end of next year He is desparate for a number one. That's why he walks funny!
December 17, 200816 yr Author He is desparate for a number one. That's why he walks funny! Well maybe he should approach Rob to do a duet! Maybe you could suggest it on the Rob forum? Norma
December 19, 200816 yr :o I'd really like to hear the result :o GA and TT are probably the most popular bands in the UK so that will double the success.
December 19, 200816 yr Author Mind you .... somebody should tell Gary that a duet is usually two people! Still .... I'd love to see it ... I've got a feeling they may do something together for Comic Relief! Norma
December 20, 200816 yr yes i agree take that are the most popular male group and girls aloud female group in the uk at the moment and a duet would be massive and i think they could genuinly come up with something great
December 21, 200816 yr My favourite girl bands are between Girls Aloud and Sugababes right now so I would love to see Take That and Girls Aloud team up for a Comic Relief single! Then again, if Take That teamed up with Sugababes they'd still have odd numbers!
December 21, 200816 yr some sugababes songs i like but for every one i like i hate 3 i find them very hot and miss so in that regards i much prefer girls aloud as in general there singles are very strong and i would much prefer a take that and girls aloud duet to a sugababes and take that duet
December 21, 200816 yr Yeah, I agree - I'd prefer Girls Aloud too. I only brought up Sugababes because they were their guests at last years Take That at the o2 so, after GA, they'd be a good choice maybe. Edited December 21, 200816 yr by SLF
December 21, 200816 yr Sugababes well one of them also bad mouthed gary although they later sorted it out
December 21, 200816 yr Author Sugababes well one of them also bad mouthed gary although they later sorted it out I think the press blew that one up all out of proportion however (Amelle?) did harp on about the same thing even on their own site. She couldn't have been too upset though otherwise they'd have told Take That to shove it when they were invited to be guests on the NY at the O2 gig. I've read loads of conflicting c**p in the last few weeks. Suddenly according to her site Lily Allen is a massive Take That fan and yet she called the c**p at the 2007 Brits! I think Lily (and I do like her) just says things to be funny! Robbie apparently thinks Take That's album is great (do you believe him?????) and yet less than a year ago he was bad-mouthing them ... so go figure! I think they're all in it for the publicity, Sugababes, Robbie, Lily and Take That themselves (well .... why miss the bandwagon?) Norma
December 21, 200816 yr oh exactly and at the end of the day all publicity is good publicity and it keeps their names in the papers,,i suppose the other thiing also is we dont know what any of them are really like for all we know they could be the most horrible people although i seriously doubt it although i hav eto say from what i see of them on tv they come accross as nice and when they appeared on an irish tv show lately the presenter later mentione don his radio show they were so lovely and down to earth to meet and talk to and he especially said mark was so normal and acted very much like someone who wasnt fanous

Because although they are apparently 'friends' again .... I can see the press turning 180% on Take That! I do though, think it is time Take That kept a very low profile leading up to the tour ... with just a tiny bit of promotion for the next single. Otherwise I can see a media backlash (probably quite rightly) againt the seemingly non-stop appearance of Take That on our screens! Norma
December 21, 200816 yr i think the opposiete the ress have a love of take that and take that this time round have appealed to everyone,,i think they will go the opposite and say robbie has alot to live up to as take that are now so good, take that remind me of kylie in a way, before her big 200 comeback the press was hit and miss with her ever since spining around they never say a abd thing about her and that is what i see with take that now still there is no denying when robbie releases his album the press will fill their rags with alot of fodder pitting them against each other and i just hope it all works out in take thats faveor rather than robbie's
