Special guest Will Young will be dueting with the legendary Elton John at Elton's New Year's Eve Party . :o

The event from the O2 arena will be aired live on ITV1. Viewers will have front row tickets to this exclusive event that will bring together a unique musical collaboration.

 

Will says: ‘I'm honoured to be asked to duet with Elton - and on New Years Eve, the biggest party of the year!'

 

Elton says: 'I can't wait to get to spend New Year's Eve with 17,000 of my biggest fans and millions of ITV viewers at home. I can't think of a better way to see in 2009.'

 

What better way to kick off the New Year with what promises to be the best show in town!?

What a fabulous duet - Daniel is such a great song and their vocals blended so well, the sound was great and you could hear Will's vocals clearly - loved it. EJ gave him a really great intro too :wub:

Daniel just showed how good Will Young is as far as I'm concerned. I fully confess I had thought of him as just another c**p pop reality show throwaway act. I was at the London Olympic concert when he duetted with James Brown and held his own. Last night he was the one on stage who seemed to realise what the song he was singing was all about.

How amazing was that :o i was saying before the concert that i hoped Elton sang Daniel it's such a gorgeous song :wub: how happy was i when i saw that was the song he was performing with Will :dance:
