There are loads of threads of this on here but too answer the questions

1) Yes but if Laura or Diana were in there i would probs say No

2) 100% Yes

3) Its superb but Jeff Buckley does beat it by a bit more IMO

:P

1) Do you think the right person won? - Ruth should have won but of the 3 finalists Alexandra was a country mile ahead of the others in talent

2) Will it make it to xmas number 1? - Without a doubt

3) Is it better than the Jeff Buckley version? - I would rate it behind KD Lang, Imogen Heap, Leonard Cohen and Jeff Buckley but a decent enough effort

1) Do you think the right person won? Yes, out of the final 3 anyway.

2) Will it make it to xmas number 1? Obviously, I'd bet everything I have on it.

3) Is it better than the Jeff Buckley version? Well I love female vocalists so I'd rather listen to this, I think his version is good though as it's not overproduced. I like the Kate Voegele one the best.

I Would completley agree with you here as from the final 12 Alex was my 4th fave

This is how i rated the Top 12

1. Diana

2. Laura

3. Scott

4. Alex

5. Ruth

6. Austin

7. Bad Lashes

8. JLS

9. Girl Band

10. Rachel

11. Eggnog

12. Daniel

As for Hallelujah - I prefer Jeff Buckley and David Cook's versions but definately the best version by a female singer

Will it make Xmas #1 - Definately

1) Probably yes. She wasn't my favourite, but in the "grand scheme of things" she was probably the best. I'd have much rather seen Diana or JLS win though.

2) yah obvs.

3) No way, and I may be a bit RASH saying that, but anyone who does needs their head testing. The Jeff Buckley isn't even my favourite version, but it's the most well known, but the lyrics were originally written by a poet, and it was meant as a deep and soulful song. I don't get that from Alexandra at all... maybe without the big production on it then yes maybe, but the X Factor versions are wayy over produced when they didn't need to be (same for JLS' too).

1) Do you think the right person won? Yes.

2) Will it make it to xmas number 1? Yes.

3) Is it better than the Jeff Buckley version? No, but Alex's version is incredible regardless.

Except for the mention of Diana -diez-!

"Deep and Soulful song"

You do know that the original song is based on sex?

"Deep and Soulful song"

You do know that the original song is based on sex?

And much of the Old Testament :P And in some verses about the pointlessness of art...with about 80 different verses you can interpret it about being about most things tbh

She sings it amazingly!

Will go to Number 1 for sure! - The amount she has sold is hugeeeeeeee!

"Deep and Soulful song"

You do know that the original song is based on sex?

The song is mainly about biblical references. It's not really based on sex, more love. There's a line about an affair, but it's still a deep and moving song, about a deep issue. Works better without being over-produced, but I guess that's what happens when you've the resources to do so...

1) Do you think the right person won? In the grand scheme of life, yes, though obvz i wouldhave preferred queen vickerz ;o

2) Will it make it to xmas number 1? Does Dawson have a Creek?

1) Do you think the right person won? No. She may have had the most talent, but that doesn't mean she has the x factor.

2) Will it make it to xmas number 1? Probably. Grr.

3) Is it better than the Jeff Buckley version? NO!!

1) Do you think the right person won? She was the best on the night, but I'd have normally had Diana, Laura, JLS or even Austin win!

2) Will it make it to xmas number 1? obviously

3) Is it better than the Jeff Buckley version? its very close for me, but I tend to be bias towards females haha.

2) Will it make it to xmas number 1? Definitely yes

3) Is it better than the Jeff Buckley version? nope (although my fav version is Rufus Wainwright's)

1) Do you think the right person won? No.

2) Will it make it to xmas number 1? That's like asking the Queen if she's the Queen.

3) Is it better than the Jeff Buckley version? The hell is it.

1) Do you think the right person won? On the night, yes, overall no. Ruth :(

2) Will it make it to xmas number 1? Ofcourse

3) Is it better than the Jeff Buckley version? Hmmm interesting question, as both do it in different ways, I personally prefer Alex's version, however, Jeff's is good too

1) Out of the last 3? Yes. Overall? No.

2) Yes. <_<
