Hey everyone, apologies for the lack of chart action over the past two weeks, I have been working my backside off doing 40 hour weeks and being very tired trying to earn a bit of money for the new year.

EXCLUSIVE...BREAKING NEWS...Because I don't like odd numbers, I have decided to extend the chart to week 50 and do a special Christmas chart, and because Christma Day i on a Thursday I feel I need to do a chart for the day!!!!

This week sees Christian Falk and Robyn hoping to hold on to the top spot for a 5th week, but with a massive 5 new entries, can they be number one again????

Here are the chart dropouts:

Dropouts:

20 - Girls Aloud - The Promise {3 - 6 - 9 - 9 - 14 - 20 - 20}

19 - Katy Perry - Hot And Cold {7 - 16 - 19}

16 - Friendly Fires - Paris {3 - 4 - 8 - 11 - 16}

14 - The Bellamy Brothers - Let Your Love Flow {19 - 14}

13 - Duffy - Rain On Your Parade {17 - 9 - 13

Enough of the chat, lets get on with the countdown and reveal the number one for this week, ahead of the xmas number 1 :yahoo:

And that's all your getting for this week, there are no chart stats for the next couple of weeks becaue my chart will be getting a revamp for 2009, more information next week but it is very very exciting.

All I can say is that there are going to be more Christmas songs charting and I'll reveal if Leona can be my Christmas number one plus a quick look at my top 40 end of year chart and the highlights to look out for as the race for best song of 2008 gets on its way, plenty of reasons to come back next week!!!!

If you have anything to add feelr free to comment on the chart and I look forard to reading all of your comments over the week, I will see you for the last chart of the year next Thursday...Christmas Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cheer:
