Posted December 19, 200816 yr Alexandra is the 11th winner of a major television music talent show, but who's been the best winner and why? Hear'Say (Popstars) Will Young (Pop Idol 1) Girls Aloud (Popstars: The Rivals) David Sneddon (Fame Academy 1) Alex Parks (Fame Academy 2) Michelle McManus (Pop Idol 2) Steve Brookstein (X Factor 1) Shayne Ward (X Factor 2) Leona Lewis (X Factor 3) Leon Jackson (X Factor 4) Alexandra Burke (X Factor 5) Charlotte Church (Big Big Talent Show 1997)
December 19, 200816 yr Steve Brookstein  Without a shadow of a doubt, Leona, followed by GA and Alex. But what about One True Voice? Edited December 19, 200816 yr by Snowman_James
December 19, 200816 yr Where are One True Voice? One of them works as a barman in Welling. Leona then Girls Aloud.
December 19, 200816 yr Will Young, Shayne, Girls Aloud, Hearsay, Leona and its early to say Alex :P Rest not a fan of
December 19, 200816 yr Author Where are One True Voice? Girls Aloud won Popstars: The Rivals as they reached No1, announced live in the final show by Dr Fox. :P
December 19, 200816 yr Will Young! For many reasons: He was a shock winner as Gareth was the favourite, he managed to find his own feet after the show and has forged an identity for himself in what has been a successful career and of course Simon Cowell will never let anyone as good as him win again as he wants someone who he can control hence the X Factor winners.

Seconded, I can't add anything to this. Humourously I'd say Geraldine McQueen. But the best British winner of a UK music talent show is a no brainer, not listed & nothing to do with the grubby money making profit making premium rate phonelines of Simon Cowell: ehrpzXSI0Tg Charlotte Church - The Big Big Talent Show 1997 To think she was actually there to speak about a family friend; but her impromtu performance was so amazing she was invited back to perform as a contestant in another episode (Ofcom guidelines would never allow that to happen now), and she went on to win the series & a star was born. Plus knowing how outspoken she is, and her career background it is easy to see why Simon Cowell went to her for the 4th X-Factor's judge role (which she passed on due to becoming pregnant - baby due mid January 2009), before moving on to Cheryl Cole.
December 20, 200816 yr Girls Aloud won Popstars: The Rivals as they reached No1, announced live in the final show by Dr Fox. :P  But One True Voice also won, I thought the idea was to create a boyband and a girlband. The only reason One True Voice didn't last is because they split up after about a year. I said Leona for this, Girls Aloud and Will Young are also both pretty good and I don't mind Shayne either. Alexandra could be my second favourite if handled well.
December 20, 200816 yr f00k. I voted for Hear'say, I loved them.. haha.. my type of music, Will Young was a close second, I love most of his singles.. but I find most of his albums to be quite dry. But I didn't see Girls Aloud straight away.. BOOURNS. <3 < 3 <3 .
