I LOVE Iceland and Lithuania! Their songs were chosen tonight and they're <3  :o

Iceland's song is lovely but Lithuania's song isn't good at all on first listen

^ :nono: :P

Poland's song is OK. Nothing WOW about it. Isis was better.

EDIT: Moldova is odd. But it could do well...

I think i love Moldovian entry :o

Alexander Rybak sounds like a ESC winner. Mind you he hasn't been selected yet. Norwiegan selection final is on 21 Feb I think.

The song is instantly catchy with lyrics that begin " Years ago when I was younger I kind of liked a girl I knew" - truly inspirational !!!

OMG Sasha Son sounds like Dima Bilan in some places!!! :o :o

compare that to the first line of the only other song in with a real chance of winning Melodi Grand Prix

'I wake up, don't know what to wear, do my make up, then I brush my hair'

but neither of these compare to the fantastically awful opening line of last year's Norwegian entry:

'Love can be hard sometimes, yes it can catch you off guard like bad crimes' :heehee:

Good God what on EARTH is that awful Armenian song? Absolutely dire and that seriously can't finish top ten for them again.
Bizarre song from Moldova, but I can see this doing well for sure! Reminds me slightly of Turkey's 2004 entry, and I'll not be surprised if this finishes top five.

Iceland is really boring, sorry. Poland is a little dull, but a bit better :) Still torn between Tone and Alexander for Norway. I like Tone's voice better. Haven't heard Armenia or Lithuania yet. I really liked the clip of Azerbaijan I heard earlier today though!

I'm getting into Eurovision this year, I've only listened to three songs so far - Albania, Turkey and UK

and so far I'd go like this -

1.Turkey (really cathcy I actually love this)

2.Albania (if it was in English I think i'd love this too, but its still good anyways)

3.UK (just a bit boring, Jade is a brilliant singer, but I expected alot more from the song!)

They're recording an English version of Albania :)

Look forward to hearing it.

what would you say are some good entries for me to go on youtube and listen to?

I've just listened to Belarus and didn't think much of it

^Belarus is awful. It really is. :puke2:

Good entries to listen to, IMO, would be France, Finland, Iceland Lithuania (it's a grower), and Slovenia. ^_^

Andorra is growing on me like hell! :o I am actually thinking of replacing it with Lose Control that currently is my favourite song unless Alexander Rybak won't be chosen :kink:
Moldova have come up with their best entry to date then  like a mix of Wild Dances, Forog Vilaj, Water and Shakira's Ojos Asi :o

i just love the Iceland entry  it can be like Norway last year!

I can see it going top 5

my 2nd fave for now just after Finland :D

It really does seem that the Western countries are upping their game. I just hope Spain can pull off something great.

it's about time to be honest after the consistently low quality from a lot of Western countries over the past 5 years (Big 4, Belgium and The Netherlands spring instantly to mind)...and the Eastern countries are losing the plot (apart from Moldova )

let's hope the best songs come in the highest places!

I preferred Moldova's 2008 entry,

I hope France score high, 'tis a choon! :cheer:
