This is a shame, as there are loads of Enya videos on YouTube that Warner has uploaded, but some dispute over money means that they are going to pull all their videos from the site! They'll stil be available on Enya.com though.

Yeah I read that in the news here too,its really a shame when we have all the work to promoting a artist without being paid instead of warner doing it,warner is one of the music companies that does so bad distribution,promotion and marketing of a artist.

In you tube there are people (me included) who "work" for promoting Enya (per example) sharing her videos,and many things about her as a artist,and those people do it without warner having to spend no money on it,so I think warner should paid for the work we have done until now,or the artists will have many serious recognition through the world by the lack recognition that warner have to give about them in the world.

 

And I have to thank to Youtube and pee-to-peer programs which introduced to me many good unknown artists,while music companies didnt introduced to me anyone,and some of them dont have their album in stores anymore so I can't buy it.

 

I hope you understand my point of view.

How much did you pay for yours? I got the video rather than the DVD so it was only £20 or so.

I got the DVD, it was around 120.00 USD. :o

Woahhh that's quite a lot, although last year that would've translated to about £60, but now it'd be about £120! :o

I have notice too that many things are less expensive in Ireland or UK than here in Portugal,this is weird and very crazy,since a person in Ireland or Uk earns something like 400euros a week and here a person earns the same in a month.

I think Warner is making a big mistake. I've gotten to know my favorite artists from YouTube. For example, I'll hear of a group or artist and go listen to them on YouTube, then decide I like them and buy their stuff. And while I'm doing that, I'll see an artist similar to them and get interested in them too! None of the artists I like are in my local music stores either. I have to buy everything off of Amazon. <_<

I cant buy from amazon because I dont use credit card,besides I avoid using one,because I have to pay a lot for having one.
