Posted December 24, 200816 yr Nick Lachey is relesing Take Thats no.1 hit as the 1st single off of his upcoming album out in 2009. In america people haven't heard of the original version. But when he comes over in the uk and the rest of europe to promote his new single & video..... oh dear -_- Listen to his version of the song here: http://blog.socialush.com/?p=5775 Edited December 24, 200816 yr by Dinno
December 24, 200816 yr Yeah...heard it before. I don't think it's half bad. Prefer TT though. And no...he'd better not promote this in Europe.
December 24, 200816 yr I think its a fairly good version. Obviously I prefer TT's version of it but this one is better than most I've heard. Hope he has some sort of hit with it in the US. Anway don't they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? Norma
December 24, 200816 yr i think its far to soon to release a cover of a song thta was arecent enough huge hit that is also on an album that is still selling by a band that is huge right now,,its not a bad version but more a case of bad timing

December 25, 200816 yr Author I'm feeling in a generous mood so I hope the guy has some sort of success with it - to be honest - the more I hear it - the more I think he's done a pretty good job! Norma If it becomes a hit in the usa it could perhap open the doors for Take That to try to crack the usa again??
December 25, 200816 yr If it becomes a hit in the usa it could perhap open the doors for Take That to try to crack the usa again?? I don't think they're interested in cracking the US as a group but I think Gary & Mark said at one time (after doing RTW for Stardust) they'd like to do some more 'film' music ... so it could be a way in. Norma
December 26, 200816 yr ya i dont think they would do america agion as it would take up too much time and now that mark is just after having another child and gary having another coming very soon they will want more time off
December 28, 200816 yr It's not exactly original is it? He hasn't added anything to it. In fact it is quite boring, without Barlow bending a few notes. I imagine most non-TT fans would think at first think it was TT.

Yes - but it is only going to be a US release (I think) and as no-one in the States has ever heard of Take That listeners there will be hearing that as an original song. If I was hearing that as an original song ... I'd probably like it enough to buy it. Norma Edited December 28, 200816 yr by Norma_Snockers
December 29, 200816 yr i uppose the fact that patince is unknown in america will give the song a chance to become known there
January 2, 200916 yr I like Nick - he had a song out in 2006 that I really liked...forgot what it was called though lol
January 2, 200916 yr I've never heard of him! I think his version of Patience is due for release end January / early February. Norma
January 3, 200916 yr Band was called 98 Degrees "Whats left of me" is worth downloading - you will be surprised! - got to number 6 on the US top 100 Billboard
January 3, 200916 yr Patience (Nick Lachey) is set for release on 27th January in the US. I'm fairly certain it won't do much chart-wise. I've looked at one of his fan-sites and it seems to be begging people to approach radio stations to get it airplay. Norma
January 7, 200916 yr This has found its way into the pop thread. It seems a few people like it (I do to be honest). I like the stringy things - just a shame the bloke's voice doesn't do it just a little bit more justice. I'm pretty certain he's only releasing it in the States anway (27th January). Norma
