I'm writing this from a snow covered log cabin in Canada, and I know you haven't heard from me much in 2008, but promise I'll be back in the New Year!

 

I'm returning to the UK to work with Pete Glenister soon (he co-wrote and produced Colourblind and my favourite songs on the first album) and you'll be able to catch me guest-starring on Hotel Babylon in February... Until then I hope you are all enjoying the Christmas holiday and wish you all health, wealth and happy times in 2009...

 

Thank you for your loyal and wonderful support, your incredibly generous support, birthday gift, cards and letters this year- and I hope that you and your families have a remarkable New Year...

Thanks, Meg. After the long, long wait for the new album it will be great to have some concrete proof of its progress.

I've found a few fleeting references online about people he's worked with for his 3rd album. I saw one recently about him working with Absolute in 2006 but there aren't any clues there. They're producers andwriters, so he could have been collaborating at the writing stage or taking demos further or whatever. There's also no knowing if anything from then will survive Darius's culling sprees.

If hs just pass them over here. we'd look after the ones he doesn't want.

The question wasn't which reality stars are talented enough to write their own songs - it was 'write their own music' - there's a difference.

 

Loads of reality stars have a few writing credits but have they written their own music or only lyrics or tweaked pre-written lyrics or as Pete once said - been in the room when it was written? It's not easy to know unless like Darius they have full credit for a song.
