Alex, stop making your childish comments at my expense. No one was more annoyed than me that you lost your Culture/Specialist forum. At least you posted your amazing threads in one place. I will be the first one to support you getting it back. ;)

I do not post churlish comments in your threads so why do you post them in mine?

But hey, carry on if it makes you happy.

no he cant, ill not tollerate any more snide remarks, they all come from one scource and will stop.

tbh actually not making any snide remarks - just saying that brian should have been the mod of a general music area - not a specialist area i may add - before the messing about by others on the site..as brian's threads are the kinda threads that was in mind when the first request was mentioned probs before brian can onto the scene....and not said with any sarcasm to brian - even tho you may have misread it to be a bitter attack...tho if you wanna hold up past grundges like whatever is it that important...as that what brian91's thread seem to be and as a lot of them could be opened up for a general discussion and not just just a small clique in the retro area (but i guess this may be the point?!?!?)

It's 11 pm and you can play any one album on the radio. What will that be?

last night i was playing the best of Richard and Linda Thompson..and i was thinking that this works very well at that time...has the right kinda vibe...also the other night was playing disc 4 of 100 hits reggae with john holt, pluto shervington and greg issac's night nurse on it and was thinking yeah this suits the vibe as well....tho i dont think the first couple of tracks such as shaggy's oh carolina suited that vibe those its a brilliant record...tho not as good as mr boom-bas-tic!!!

oh i dont think it was a 'bitter attack' but it did /does read as a snide remark...ok maybe you didnt mean it like that (which is why i ignored it originally) but i wish sometimes youd think more about the manner in which you post as most of us 'dont get' your train of thought.. :)

One album, from start to finish with no DJ chatter or adverts?

"August and Everything After" by Counting Crows

Beautiful mix of tempos, emotions and song structures but more importantly perhaps, just consistently good.
