Whether you are nipping down to the shops or driving down the motorway, what song do you turn the volume up if it comes on the radio, or what CD do you put in the audio system to cheer you up.

hmm... pretty dangerous really, my favs like 'ace of spades' or 'i feel free' often up my speed as i get engrossed! lol.

trance is usually the safest.

Usually Queen or Meatloaf but also love driving to The Offspring, Iron Maiden and AC/DC and love some uplifting opera too like Land Of Hope And Glory, Grand March From Aida, Handel's Messiah etc turned up FULL blast
If I'm in the car with my dad going on a long journey somewhere or whatever, I always put on Aerosmith's 'Get A Grip'. It's MTV-c**p, but has good tracks.

When the three of us are in the car there's usually an argument - I want either ELO, Beatles or Take That on. My husband wants JJ Cale or Rufus Wainwright on. My son wants Maroon 5 on. But .... Ace of Spades is the one song (on a rock cd I always have in the car) that brings us together as a family! Strange choice I know ... but its the one song we can all agree on!

I actually don't like listening to music in the car as it makes me want to sing, go faster, etc therefore affecting my driving concentration so I normally listen to Radio 5 Live.

The Cars (no pun intended) This US band were magic

Also 60s bands
