Posted January 1, 200916 yr So, what's going to happen? Will the era take a big turn around? Will Heavy Rotation (definate single release) be a massive hit? Will her company see sense and release some decent tunes? Will her management (same management who manage Rihanna) re-package and re-release Heavy Rotation? Will the tour be successful? etc. etc.
January 1, 200916 yr Author ... or will she just flop harder than '08 and loose her record deal? :heehee:
January 1, 200916 yr I don't think her next singles flop worse than ICFY and as bad as AP will do :P cause these are the worst songs that they could have chosen... I hope they do a re-release tho, cause that's what it needs
January 1, 200916 yr Author That's true, there is no worst singer than ICFY + AP left on Heavy Rotation. Surely, releasing 'Heavy Rotation' will be a massive career killer, but it could go either ways. It's a song that could ruin her chances for this album, or make it. Because Anastacia singing a Darkchild production as full on as that, might surprise a few people.
January 1, 200916 yr yeah...u either love it or hate it... But I dunnow how well it would do as a single, they could do a wicked vid for it aswell...I think they will take the chance of releasing it at some point tho Yeah...I've seen it some web sites because it's produced by Darkchild and a lot of people seem to like it...so it could do well...I guess we'll just have to wait and see :P Edited January 1, 200916 yr by ~Jax~
January 1, 200916 yr Author It's rather mixed response, it's either a love or hate track (like you said). The video though.. :/ The only place I could imagine it being in is a club. It needs to be expensive though, not like the 'Absolutely Positively' video. And it would help if she ditched the curly hair and brought her glasses back.
January 1, 200916 yr Author I think she should release either I Call It Love or Defeated next tbh. Defeated is the one that most people like, although she's never done well with ballads (apart from I Belong To You, which was massive!). I Call It Love gets the good reviews, but it's really overlooked on the album.
January 1, 200916 yr Yep...bring the glasses back, maybe get some extensions or whatever so she has the long hair back too :P And yeah...they deffo need to spend more on the vid aswell... I also agree that Defeated should be the next single...she could have an AMAZING vid for it if they are willing to spend more money on it...it will be a vid that has a great story to it...kinda like YNBA imo...I know they have a budget etc, but they don't wanna seem to spend any money what-so-ever, just like AP - she looked nice but the vid was too simple so it was boring... ICIL shoulda been the first single...I think it would be too late to release it now
January 1, 200916 yr Author I Call It Love could work for 2009, just depends on how it goes (although to be honest, I don't think the record company will release it). I can guess what Universal/Mercury-Def Jam will do. They'll most probably release The Way I See It & Same Song. They're purposly pushed towards the old 2008 Duffy/Winehouse sound. Releasing them would ruin everything. The sound is pretty much over with, and people will just criticize her for trying to cash in on the type of sound (even though Ana's been doing it 5 years before Winehouse was :heehee: ).
January 1, 200916 yr I know it's going to turn around with defeated...def will work IF they release it.
January 1, 200916 yr For the first time I dont know what to expect from this upcoming tour. They really need a really good single before the tour kicks off. Defeated, HR or I call it love would be my picks. I am just praying on my knees this tour wont flop.
January 1, 200916 yr Author It defiantly won't be as big as Live at Last. Three tours in two years? Nah, that won't happen this time.
January 1, 200916 yr No there's no way it can be as big...but hopefully some of the people that saw her last time will want to see her again this time tho, regardless of whether they like this album or not Edited January 1, 200916 yr by ~Jax~
January 1, 200916 yr my guess is that they will see how the european tour is doing till they decide if it will go worldwide.
January 1, 200916 yr and i dont see a US release coming tbh (sorry mary). if the tour kicks off in may/june she will start rehearsing soon so there wont be any time for promo.
January 1, 200916 yr yup...I think they might scrap the idea altogether  that way they can also concentrate on a re-release and some good singles Edited January 1, 200916 yr by ~Jax~
January 1, 200916 yr i think a re=release alongside a single and the tour would be the best bet but decent bonus stuff, behind the scenes, interviews, bonus tracks, exclusive remixes
January 1, 200916 yr i think a re=release alongside a single and the tour would be the best bet but decent bonus stuff, behind the scenes, interviews, bonus tracks, exclusive remixes yup...it's the only thing that they can do now
