That said, I have loved all 4 singles from it (yes, even Without You). I Thought It Was Over was a great comeback single for them and as such, it made 1 week at number one on my chart. Hopefully their third album will remind people of their greatness and they'll be gracing the top 10 again before we know it. I for one hope so as I have a weird crush on Dan Gillespie-Sells.

Justin Timberlake (33, 17, 10, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 1, 2, 4, 5, 11, 22, 22, 35) {16 wks} wZWimoNwURw Ah Queen Madge has entered my YTD top 10 for the first time ever...and I'm sure that had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Mr. Timberlake was with her. Anyway this song spent 4 non-consecutive weeks at number 1 on my chart earlier in the year though, I have to say, I'm kinda bored with it now. In fact I think this whole Candy Shop era has been very blah for Madonna, but then I did love the Confessions era so maybe I'm biased. Ah well, maybe she'll release Beat Goes On - Kanye seems to save everyone at the moment.

Unlike 4 Minutes, I still adore this song and could actually be my favourite Kylie song ever. It spent 12 weeks in the top 10 but unfortunately never quite made number 1 :( I was on placement when this song was out and I remember hearing it almost every day on the radio. Good memories. :D Edited January 4, 200916 yr by Nightcrawler

This is her highest ranked song in my YTD chart, so she's not quite the Queen of my chart yet (Nelly Furtado still holds that position). Anyway, I definitely overdid this song back in the day as it grates on me a little now, but I think it's still my favourite song from the 'original' Good Girl Gone Bad album.
January 4, 200916 yr Author http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1765355.JPG 3. #03 Denial - Sugababes (23, 16, 16, 10, 8, 6, 6, 4, 3, 3, 7, 5, 6, 8, 11, 16, 32, 36) {18 wks} Q4vJ8ZdmIvA A surprisingly high entry by the Sugababes here! Only made number 3 on my chart but spent 11 weeks in the top 10. This is still one of my favourite songs by the girls and in my opinion, way better than most of the songs from the new Catfights and Spotlights album. This is the highest entry not to be a number 1 on my YTD chart, and at number 3 that is quite an accomplishment!
January 4, 200916 yr Author http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1783453.JPG 2. #01 When I Grow Up - Pussycat Dolls (18, 16, 11, 11, 11, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 3, 3, 10, 17, 20, 26, 33) {18 wks} 3gvcpb4_7ZQ With potentially my favourite comeback of the year, here are the Pussycat Dolls and their boobies. I seriously love their Doll Domination album and think that Halo needs a release!! When I Grow Up spent 5 weeks at number 1 back in October and although the follow up single I Hate This Part only made number 2, it's ensured the PCDs are here to stay for some time yet. Which should make the identity of my top song of the year relatively easy...

Their album Dreaming Out Loud is my favourite album of 2008 and I think I'm right in saying that they are the only act I've been to see live this year. Absolute disgrace that neither Say (All I Need) or Mercy managed to set the UK charts alight, but here's hoping their next album will give them the success they deserve. YAY. :magic:
