New random chat topic. :D I've unpinned a couple of threads which nobody's posted in for months today btw. They can be ri-pinned when things start happening in the world of J again.

 

I'm having SUCH a Jammy J day! I still listen to SAY and BotD quite often but today it's ALL about the Thank You album. :wub:

Been listening to No More a lot recently :wub: So unfair it flopped so baddly

I've had a few plays of GoGo lately ^_^ lol

 

What terrible choices! :kink: I can't listen to No More. It's a really good song but that bloody intro is hurrendous, the second it comes on I have to switch off. Classic case of an intro ruining a song. :(

While it is a great song, "No More" should not have been a single AT ALL. Neither the fans nor J wanted it to be released.

 

And YES Jark - it will always be about "Thank You" to me. I put it on the other day when I was in bed, and I had forgotten just HOW much I love it. It was such a good year for Jamelia & music.

 

I'm still a little salty about the label re-releasing the album a gazillion times.

Am I wrong in thinking there were THREE re-release? Of which two were entirely cosmetic? :heehee: I still have to buy myself a physical copy of it actually. I wasn't big into her, other than the TY singles, until the WWM era.

Yeah, it was stupid. I got so mad at one point. I sent an email saying "DO NOT RELEASE THIS DAMN ALBUM AGAIN. I AM BROKE!!!".

 

I didn't hear anything back from them though.

Martin, is there any chance you could locate me that Beware of the Dog photoshoot in HQ, or the biggest we have? You know the one where she's on the stage with the straight hair. I fancy making me a sig :o
