Eamon Sharing 'Pain' On Sophomore Album

June 13, 2006, 10:50 AM ET

Clover Hope, N.Y.

Eamon, the vocalist behind the bold 2004 single "F**k It (I Don't Want You Back)," will on Aug. 1 release his sophomore album, "Love & Pain," via First Priority Music/Jive. Lead single "(How Could You) Bring Him Home" will impact radio on June 26.

The cut was produced by Frankie J (under the moniker Happy Perez), Jeff Smith and Milk Dee. A video for the single, which talks about betrayal, will arrive later this month.

The 22-year old singer/songwriter says his new set will reveal how much he's grown since his 2004 debut "I Don't Want You Back," which peaked at No. 16 on The Billboard 200. The disc has sold 591,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "F**k It" reached No. 1 on the U.K. singles chart and peaked at No. 16 on the Hot 100.

Ironically, it was dethroned in the United Kingdom by a response song from Frankee, "F.U.R.B. (F. U. Right Back)." The artists were allegedly former lovers, although Eamon disputed the details of their relationship.

"My delivery [on this album] is more mature, more the view of a young adult going through love and pain," he says, referring to the album's title. "I want people to enjoy my music and know that I'm here to stay. I want everybody to be able to relate when they hear this record."

YES! Me too. :puke2: He's a brat and I hope he flops.

Not that there's any doubt he will, he's a one hit wonder in the eyes of the public anyway. :D
