Posted January 3, 200916 yr As they say nothing beats the original with Gene Hackman, the follow up to that was with Micheal Caine and Telly Savalas which was a naff film, enough said. And last night I saw the remake simply titled Poseidon bit of a yawnfest but there was nothing decent to watch, with Kurt Russell and Josh Lucas, and I'm positive I saw Fergie  unfortunately she met a watery grave. Actually first time I saw it, I just thought I tune in, it was all rather predictable, as you know someone was going to die at some point.

I loved the first one ... total rubbish and cliche-ridden but superb entertainment. I remember thinking 'what a crap Christmas tree' although it did come in handy! Norma
