OK, well I didn't do a chart last week as I was dedicating my time to my amazing year end countdown, now, 2009 eh? Well I've definitely got a fair few "new" entries, although some of them are just songs that I caught onto later than everyone else in true me fashion :). Also forth coming singles from Jordin Sparks, Kellie Pickler and Same Difference are somewhere in my chart. Also Ana Free, who I hope makes it big in the UK but I doubt she will :P. In the albums chart, my christmas gifts have had a huge impact and there are three new entries in the top 5 :)

In the singles Ana Free climbs 8 places to secure 2009's first number one as Jordin Sparks and Lights (BJSCXIII) enter the top 3, Brit winners Florence and The Machine storm the top 6 and Laura Marling's most recent single enters at seven. Alexandra Burke swaps places with Ana Free and looks to be going our rather quickly as Circus falls to 8. Leona remains in the top 5 but is down two at 4.

Well, an album I got for christmas storms in to number 1, I'd never heard a Laura Marling song before then and I'm sad I've missed out on the first year of her career :P. Lights debut EP enters at number 2 as Kellie Pickler's sophmore finds itself at number 4. Duffy remains in the top 5 for a 6th week as Same Difference's former number 1 album Pop! just about hangs in the top 5.
