January 4, 200916 yr Bring It On Home is my fave Animals track Not a patch on the Sam Cooke version but still a masterpiece
January 4, 200916 yr Great band from the 60's with some cracking tracks. We've Gotta Get Out Of This Place, Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood and House of the Rising Sun are my favourites.
January 5, 200916 yr a truely great inovative original band, who of course went on to discover the talent that is jimi hendrix and manage groups like slade (chas chandler). imho they didnt do a bad track.... my favs are 'its my life' and 'inside looking out'.
January 5, 200916 yr Bring It On Home is my fave Animals track Not a patch on the Sam Cooke version but still a masterpiece and of House of the Rising Sun??? just think that's probably the most covered song ever but as it goes way way before records began (of the making a note on paper kind rather than of cd recordings)...people only got data for things like yesterday and if about half of all films made before like 1940 dont exist anymore probs the same for recordings of House of the Rising Sun or whatever it was called (Alan Lomax when he was collecting these folk songs may have it put down as something else, same for Leadbelly and woody guthrie)

Frijid Pink version - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=t40INnb6DnY BTO version - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=YwxP4rv8ImA The Buster Poindexter one is less to peoples teste it is quite jazzy with saxophone in it as opposed to guilar based Edited January 5, 200916 yr by B.A Baracus
January 5, 200916 yr The Buster Poindexter one is less to peoples teste it is quite jazzy with saxophone in it as opposed to guilar based yeah not a big fan of saxophones well i suppose something like an alto-sax used in a jazz way can be kinda cool...but saxs and rock/pop music no way man...thats why loads of 80s music is awful too much sax (not enough sex ?!?! ) esp with rotten aussie bands from 80s pubs...and people off poilce acedmy having a rocking fun kinda time!!!

January 6, 200916 yr Some of you may not remember that after the demise of the Animals, in 1970 Eric Burdon teamed up with funk band War. Their most famous track being Spill The Wine - US #3 but sadly a UK Flop. By the mid 70s War (without Eric) were best known for hits such as Low Rider, Me & Baby Brother and Galaxy Spill the Wine UmZKpgz9hRo
