We have a very interesting chart this week as Rudenko unexpectedly moves into pole position and Guru Josh Project becomes number 2 after 17 weeks on top altogether. Cidinho & Doca make an entry at number 9 with "Rap Das Armas".

Rudenko, biggest fall ever?

Yes, indeed - "Everybody" has executed the biggest fall possible in the top and simply adds to the fact that this chart is becomíng very random considering that only last week it made an unexpected climb to the top. Lady GaGa storms in at number 2 and tracks entering this high in the top 10 have always topped the countdown and perhaps a "Poker Face" would be necessary to wear when planning to attack Guru Josh and his 18 weeks of victory.

Don't know yet,because MTV Europe will show this chart tomorrow @ 20:00 CET.This edition seems very strange that's why i'm not sure if it's correct-i mean this 1-10 move from Rudenko and the Lady GaGa's high entry.If they show something different i'll made corrections tomorrow.

A chart with no new entries at all this week is quite suprising since such a chart was last aired in June of the previous year. Most charts after then always had one new comer and the same was expected for this week. It`s also very unusual and relatively interesting to have a top 3 of European Top 20 songs and for the second week running.

 

Lady Gaga is crowned number 1 with "Poker Face" after her first hit "Just Dance" from last year which was very unsuccessful in the top 10.

The MTV website says that Laurent Wolf is at No.6 with "No Stress",but i think it's a mistake.The song was in DFC last year and went to No.1."Explosion" is his new hit and it's more likely to be in the chart now.

A bit early for Groove Armada imo

Three songs have been replaced in this weeks dancefloor chart. The highest new entry goes in at number 4. It`s Big Ali & Dollarman with "Hit The Floor". Laurent Wolf makes a re-entry at number 6 with the song that put him on the map; "No Stress", a number-1 hit from last year. At number 7 we welcome Groove Armada. The duo takes us back to 2001 when they placed "Superstylin´" at number 9 in the top 20. Their highest peak is with "Get Down" which made it to number 2 in 2007. Now their back in the game with "Drop The Tough".

 

What can we say about the Guru Josh Project? "Infinity 2008" has been in the chart for 26 weeks all in the top 2. It has topped the chart for an incredible 18 weeks and has collected as many points as 314. And it`s not quite over yet...

I'm watching this now and it actually is No Stress at number 6.

The MTV website says that Laurent Wolf is at No.6 with "No Stress",but i think it's a mistake.The song was in DFC last year and went to No.1."Explosion" is his new hit and it's more likely to be in the chart now.

It's not a mistake in fact.They really play Laurent Wolf's "No Stress" at No.6.And that is a re-entry if it's really true.Strange to see a song that was last in the chart on 20.07.2008 to enter again.Maybe they will realise this and will put some new stuff from Laurent Wolf next week:"Seventies" or "Explosion"!!!

I'm watching this now and it actually is No Stress at number 6.

 

I`m not exactly surprised, the song still has a heavy rotation but it´s still very old...

MTV needs to do an update of their dance tunes on their playlist. No Stress, Pjanoo and Delerious are still played regularly

The dfc chart slows down this week as opposed to its usual random changes. Lady GaGa continues to be number 1 for the third week running with "Poker Face". The Guru Josh Project remain in the top 2 for half a year a now. Also after the heavy inflow of new entries last week it doesn`t come as a shock that this week we have no entries at all.
