Kid Cudi really were undeserved No.1,but more important this week is that chart veterans Eric Prydz and Guru Josh Project both set records:26 weeks in the chart for "Pjanoo" and 14 weeks at No.1 for "Infinity 2008"!!!I don't think that soon those records will be challenged.

Martin Solveig shortly visited the dfc towards the end of last year with "I Want You" and peaked at number 4 and now he`s back after mastering how to count to his latest peak. The Guru Josh Project take back the throne this week whilst trying to own it for an infinite amount of time as Josh celebrates a 14th number 1 and it`s consequence is letting Kid Cudi slide down all the way to number 7 and this is the biggest fall from the top in the top 10.

The top 10 has become more and more unpredictable and it´s never possible to be sure when a song has reached its peak, if it´s on its way out or if it`s reign at the top has ended. The movements are very random and this weeks suprises are Kid Cudi and David Guetta.

DMT enter the chart at number 9 with a cover of Rui Da Silva`s "Touch You" from 2001 which topped the dfc top 20 for 3 weeks. If making covers is their thing then they haven`t picked the wrong song although whether they`ll be more sucessful with it than Rui Da Silva is relatively doubtful but thats just imo...only time has the real answer.

Isn't it a different DMT? I think these guys are a UK group, and Listen To Your Heart DMT were Belgian (I think!)

You`re right...I see that they were called DHT and confused them with the new DMT...my bad

Guru Josh Project`s "Infinity 2008" has owned this count for a total of 16 weeks. It has been in the top 10 for 21 weeks now and all those weeks have been spent in the top 2 which is very impressive. The song has collected 258 points which is the current record for points. After a record of 27 weeks on the chart, Eric Prydz leaves the top 10 with his infectious club hit "Pjanoo".

The new entry for this week is Cahill and Nikki Belle with their song "Sex Shooter". They enter at number 6 which is a lot better than this time last year when they missed the countdown with "Trippin´ On You".

In 2007 we noted that David Guetta`s "Love Is Gone" was the track to spend the longest time at number 1 but now we seem to have a track that has doubled this record and the achievement of "Infinity 2008" could be extremely tough to beat even when Cahill poses as a threat to end its victory. "Runnin´" is the only new entry at number 9 by Doman & Goodling Ft Dru & Lincoln.
