Bye Bye to Laurent Wolf`s "No Stress" and Groove Armada`s "Drop The Tough" and hello to Kidbass at number 9 with "Goodgirls Love Rudeboys" and Ferry Corsten at number 7 with "Made Of Love". Ferry Corsten recently peaked at number 3 with "Radio Crash".

 

For 2009 so far, Lady GaGa`s "Poker Face" has the record for the longest time at number 1 with 4 consecutive weeks. Guru Josh Project has now collected an insane amount of points from the top 10 - now 334 points and remains at number 2! Its safe to conclude that this is one of the biggest dance hits of this decade.

The remix was already a major success in clubs across the continent towards the end of last year so Greek-Swedish DJ Steve Angello`s remix on "Show Me Love" was made mainstream and is the only new entry at number 9. The song is very much alike Michael Minds`version which peaked at number 2 last year.

He sang on "Dance Wiv Me" with Dizzee Rascal and peaked at number 5 last year but first appeared with "Acceptable In The 80`s" in 2007 and now crashes into the dfc at number 3 with UK number-1, "I`m Not Alone". The chart opens its doors for Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris who could as soon as next week end Lady GaGa`s 6-week victory at the top with "Poker Face".

Kid Cudi and Guru Josh still in there that's quite ridiculous. there are a lot of new and fantastic dance tracks at the moment where are they? Deadmau5, David Guetta, Bimbo Jones, Prodigy etc.

Kid Cudi is only charting recently in most European countries, makes sense that he's reclimbing.

This is really the newsest DFC available.Just saw it on MTV Europe.I agree for Guru Josh Project - they are still here after 31 weeks in the chart,18 of them at No.1.And btw i've never seen a chart with last weeks No.1 being relegated (Lady GaGa was a winner last week with "Poker Face" and now she's out).

Ferry Corsten manages to repair last weeks unpleasant fall to the bottom of the chart whilst Lady GaGa´s "Poker face" falls completely out of the chart after topping it just last week! This has never happened on the dfc before. Something that has happened before is that Kid Cudi has topped the chart for one week earlier this year and returns for a second week at the summit.

 

Bob Sinclar is back in the countdown with "Lala Song" and keeps filling his resume of hits, the best one being "World Hold On" which topped the countdown for 5 weeks in 2006. Tiga also returns after a while with "Shoes" and his best hit was "You Gonna Want Me" from 2005 and peaked at number 3. He first visited the countdown with Nelly`s "Hot In Herre" in 2003 and peaked at number 8 in the top 20.
