2 more super random entries. Way to go MTV, half the chart is completely irrelevant and unrepresentative of what's popular in the continent
Yeah, I can understand Placebo, but Coldplay is TOTALLY random :nocheer:
Sorry I thought it was the new single... in which case, no idea :(
Well it's in the Fresh Hits chart... Considering it's not out for two weeks in the UK, it's not impossible...

you do know this is the European chart, not the UK chart right? Even if it debuted at #1 in the UK charts, I still dont think it should be there since its not charting in any other european country.

And just to remind us what was European Top 20 back in the years check this:

By the way this was the first European Top 20 shown on the new MTV Nordic channel started March 1,1998!My all time best MTV years............

Thanks so much!! 1998-2001 were my fav years for MTV Europe :D

Me too, remember them so well

By the way is there an archive of the chart anywhere?

Yes, Markus Tolksdorf keeps a very good one with charts from 1991 up until today here:History of European Top 20

Btw Good job tsetsi...Eden was my favourite presenter

Me too  But who was the guy on about the same time, or a little later... Trey?

Thanks for the link :) Is there a searchable one with artist though? Thanks!

She was terrible IMHO, she just seemed to hate the whole thing. Unless I'm thinking of the wrong girl.

She was hilarious and did the most random things during the show

Yeah, she was the one I was thinking of. She just didn't seem to take it seriously at all, which kind of put me off...

Lol that makes no sense whatsoever considering she penned the show amongst doing others, and won awards for it :P She just had a different way of showing interest, which was in a cooky funny way. Brilliant imo.
