Who the hell brought Corrie into this? But as you mention her Rosie Webster - brilliantly funny, stupid, perplexing, pretty character ... Tiffany - bloody useless ginger-minger!

Tiffany > Rosie

Tiffany and the Masoods are the only things in EastEnders at the moment that add a little cheer, lately I've noticed more comical scripting and it generally features around these two characters, while the dramatic storylines improve also the humour does too. She is a good little actress also, when Wellard was put down her reaction alone put a tear to my eye.

I must be watching a different program to everyone else then because imo she's the pits! And the only character that adds any touch of comedy to this show (as ever) is Ian Beale.

Light-hearted as you were being, Norma, I think to call a small child who is barely ten a ginger minger is slightly harsh...

Don't call any small child that, or anyone in that case. <_<

Small upcoming spoiler

Phil starts drinking again. Steven plays a fantastic drunk but I hate drunk Phil. Shirley can save him though!

i read somewhere that we are gong to see a return of the old Phil Mitchell which will be good as he hasnt been doing alot at all lately
a very chillin word from peggy to end tonights episdoe eh!

Just totally unbelievable. I thought tonight's episode was a bit pants (still immensely better than Corrie at the moment but pants nonetheless). And Peggy coming out with the line (it went something like) 'Peggy Mitchell has never been made a fool of'. Doh Peggy! What about Pat & Frank? And numerous other people who'd taken liberties with her?

The real interest for me now is Ronnie & Stacey ... and how their characters are going to react in the next few episodes ... and Janine. I'm not interested in some ludicrous plan by Peggy - turning into some sort of Kray Mother really doesn't suit her ... they really need a Billie Whitelaw if they're going to do that!

Norma

How come Ben Mitchell didn't attend Peggy's wedding? I watched the Wedding episode and he weren't to be seen! It's a bit poor that he had to do homework.
Tiffany Jackson or whatever her surname is rocks. She can batter that evil Dotty Cotton any day!

Oh but Dotty Cotton is clearly the greatest soap character ever.

A 7 year old evil murderous girl dressed as the 1940s who is trying to bump off her old nan. With a ridiculously fake Cockney accent. It's GENIUS.

im glad sam is coming back but i wish it was Kim Medaclf who was reurning as i thought she was a far better actress than daniella

Same, I dunno its gonna be weird!

Confirmed on official website now.

The original Mitchell sister to return

Tue 7 Apr 2009

Danniella Westbrook is set to make a dramatic return to Walford as Sam Mitchell, almost 20 years after she first set foot in the Square.

Although Danniella hasn't appeared in EastEnders since 2000, we last saw her character, Sam Mitchell, played by Kim Medcalf, in 2005. A suspect in Dirty Den's murder, Sam ran off to Brazil to stay with her older brother Grant.

Ricky and Sam

What could possibly have convinced Sam to leave the sun and safety of Brazil when she faces possible arrest back in the UK? How will the rest of the Mitchell clan react to her return, as well as ex-husband Ricky Butcher? Could the reappearance of Sam threaten his relationship with Bianca?

“I’m really happy to be coming back, it feels just like coming home," says Daniella. "I’m really looking forward to working with Barbara, Steve, Sid and Patsy and I’m over the moon to be working with the new boss Diederick Santer. I can’t wait to get the scripts to see what Sam Mitchell has been up to since she was last in the Square.”

Diederick Santer

EastEnders Executive Producer Diederick Santer added: “With all the turmoil facing the Mitchells this year, it feels like a great time to bring back Sam, the original Mitchell sister. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Kim Medcalf for her great work playing Sam Mitchell for three years and welcome Danniella back to pick up the baton once again.”
