They'd just stand there leering at each other. Maybe Suzy would lick her lips on occasion and Archie would squint his eyes at her.

Now that I could observe for hours. Just the thought of all that sexual tension is getting me excited.

I'd LOVE to see Suzy back. But didn't the actress get the chop because of a fued with Samantha Janus?

Apparently yes and also with several others!

But rumours are Sam felt out with Lauren Crace too- but I dont think thats true who couldn't just adore Lauren?!

its a shame about suzie as i felt she was a charactor that could go very far so its a shame she had to due to feuding with people
I did hear Maggie O'Neill (Suzy) had issues with Diane Parrish (Denise) aswell, but who knows how true that is?
^ LOL I think you hit the nail on the head there Aidan. I miss her sexy voice though :kink:

No, apparently according to the news of the world- Diane had a massive argument with Sam J and Rob K and Susie stuck up for her. Looks like Samantha Janus is queen bee at EastEnders...

NOTW? All the more reason not to believe that :heehee: I don't really understand how any of the cast members could have any kind of rift. What's to argue about when you're acting?!

Suppose there will always be some tensions just like any work-place.

I have heard LOTS of times about Sam J being hard to work with but I never really believed it (I love her too much :heehee:)

Same LOL. In interviews she comes across as so genuine I could never believe she'd be a tempremental colleague. Maybe she just speaks her mind and certain directors/cast members don't like it? Some people have to say what they're thinking :heehee:
Suzy did improve in her last few episodes but what i never got was why bring back Suzy Branning when she never had scenes with the Brannings themselves. They might as well have introduced a new character.
i heard rumours before that samantha janus can be a diva at work so im sure some of the eastenders rumours are true,i thought suzie had quite afew scenes with the brannings but she was every bit a scheming as them

CreDOT Crunch :heehee:

CASH-hit EastEnders chiefs have slashed scenes involving Dot Cotton — because they can’t afford actress June Brown’s wages.

The soap icon revealed that the BBC show is having to use more scenes involving cheaper, younger actors to survive the credit crunch.

June, 82 — up for a best actress Bafta this month — told The Sun: “I’m not due back until May. It’s to do with the recession. They could afford ten kids and five dogs for the price of me.”

The veteran, who joined the show after its 1985 launch, is believed to have raked in a salary of over £370,000 in recent years.

Dwindle

Like all EastEnders stars, she earns a basic wage boosted by the number of episodes she appears in.

A show insider said: “Using fewer actors per episode is the most effective way of making cuts, but it’s usual for actors to take a break.”

A spokesman added: “EastEnders has to make savings. Every effort goes into continuing to make a high quality show.”

But June has seen her scenes dwindle following the departure of co-stars such as Natalie Cassidy, who played step-granddaughter Sonia.

June said: “Every time I get some family, they take them. Dot has nothing to do. That’s the problem.”

June’s Bafta nod is for an episode last year in which she taped memories for ill husband Jim to listen to in hospital.

She is the first soap actress in the category since Jean Alexander in 1989 for playing Corrie’s Hilda Ogden.

June said: “I won’t even buy a new dress because it doesn’t look right in the recession, does it?”

That's because Suzy was always flat out trying to flog gold bars or giving Ben evils to notice her family.

Although to be fair, EE have never always been that hot at recognising family connections; possibly because it would draw attention to the fact that all of the big families (Mitchells, Beales, Brannings, Wicks, Fowlers, Jacksons etc.) have all become inter-related in various ways over the years. They're all pretty much inbred now.

Take Bianca and her brood for instance. A new viewer would never have guessed that they're related to Max, Jack, Bradley, Dot etc. for all the interaction they have.

true the branning inter action isnt very strong at all even the other night and im an avid viewer i had forgot the dotty and tiffant connection.....so it was the same in a way with suzie but i have to say suzies exit was one of my faves he finale speach in the vic was nothing short of bloody brilliant
Pretty much nothing I've seen in Eastenders since I started re-watching last Summer has beaten Suzy's "Phil! I lied, I'm not pregnant." moment. That was just... so well played.
it was fantastic she was so cold it was hilarious and it was like she hadnt a care in the world its definitly a very classic eastenders moment

Suzy was an unexpected joy in her final week; Maggie O'Neill finally looked she was going to fulfill her potential there.

I had initially heard that Suzy was just taking a break as opposed to a full-time departure, but that's not looking to be the case now is it?
