Yeah, the fact about what the title is supposed to mean made me think it wouldn't go over well being a single. I don't know though, it's a great track that shouldn't be taken too seriously. I think it has potential to be a hit but won't nearly have as much success as Womanizer or Circus.

Worst possible choice by FAR!

She was beginning to get a bit of respect in the music industry after all this time, and releasing 'Unusual You' would of been a great move.

Shes now took a BIG step back by releasing this novelty Katy Perry b-side type rubbish.

AWFUL crap choice. Cheesy novelty track relying on gimmicks to make teenagers hysterical once they figure out the "f*** me" part. Hope it flops and the 4th single arrives soon

I agree 100%. Horrible song and won't do well on radio. Out From Under was the obvious 3rd single choice. Is this for sure? I keep seeing "3rd single confirmed" about every song.

This song was designed to be a hit single. It's not even in my top 5 songs from the album, but I can tell you that it will give her another hit...most of the puiblic loves it, alot of radio stations have gotten requests for it, including my local one who once said "Were getting alot of requests for a track by Britney about someone named Amy, but it's not released to radio people"...

It was obvious this would be a single IMO, and it was a good choice in order to keep the album selling well, but I would really like it if Unusual You was released next...

Is this for sure? I keep seeing "3rd single confirmed" about every song.

It's been confirmed by her official site.

Probably most of you won't agree with my comment, but I believe they've chosen this particular song, because Britney isn't ready or doesn't feel confident enough to perform a ballad live (she'll have to sing it and dancing won't be an option to make the performance more exciting). I might be wrong, of course. Other catchy up-tempo songs like Amnesia and Quicksand are bonus tracks, so they obviously can't be released as singles. So this is a great choice and I'm happy with it :)

I really like the track.

And look at the bright side guys, atleast it's not 'Mannequin'! As much as I love that song, it would have not done well.
Good and bad idea. Good in respect, lots of shops are playing it. Bad in the reason: The Script have a song titled "If You See Kay" and secondly people have expressed discomfort in the phonetics.

I don't think The Scripts will have ANY affect on the success of IYSA.

It's not a single though so why would it be a big deal? I think the only trouble is obviously what the song is talking about.

It would be a total double standard if that hurts it's success, when rap songs are played talking about "midnight sex so wet and so tight" without being censored.

-_-

I suppose. But a lot of people probably don't expect a pop song like that from Britney, at least right now. Then again, the song doesn't even flat out say F-U-C-K ME! I don't think it'll be a big issue anyways.

You'd be surprised how many people don't understand what the song is actually saying.

I remember when the song first leaked A LOT of people didn't get it ... including me. :kink:
I bet that's what alot of people will think it's about on first listen.
There is NOTHING 'novelty' about this song besides the innuendo. It happens to be a brilliant pop song with a bloody great hook.
I LOVE this  I never considered it as a single, I always thought it'd be one of those songs destined to be an album track. I can't imagine kids singing this in the playground though :heehee:
