I think the UK doesn't love Britney anymore... her album is taking ages to get to Platinum which is only 300,000 copies and her singles are flopping, even when they're very commercial.

But I think a tour is different, cause lots of people go to concerts to see what the show has to offer, and not necessarily because they're Britney fans. Anyways, I think I might be sad about the whole chart situation lmao, I used to love seeing Britney topping the UK charts back in 2004 :lol:

Her singles still seem to be selling pretty well though. Circus has topped 160k and that didn't even make top 10! Plus Circus album went platinum quite a while ago whereas Blackout, spawning two top 3 singles, still isn't. But that could be due to the fact Circus had promo for it and Blackout didn't. :lol:

It's true that the singles market in the UK is very competitive at the moment ... you have to sell a hell of a lot more singles then previously to get the same chart position. People seem to be buying singles then downloading the album at the moment :unsure:
