Country trio the DIXIE CHICKS have extended their stay at the top of the US album charts to two weeks after selling another 271,000 copies. The girls' TAKING THE LONG WAY crashed in at number one last week (31MAY06). TV movie soundtrack HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL continues to amaze critics and chart watchers by hanging on at number two, while the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS' new double album, STADIUM ARCADIUM, climbed back up the charts to number three.

Yeah it got tp #1 on the Billboard Chart almost instantly and stayed there for 2 weeks :D
