Definately luckily the preview of the song is good,so people may buy it even if they havn't heard it!

 

The talk of Poker Face is big everywhere, I am surprised though I didn't think it would climb this high soo early, In the US it's still in the 30's! :o

I can't believe this as soon as it hits top 10 I reckon it will fly up as people will be curious if they havn't heard it already!

 

This is bad though, If it climbs into top 5 there will be no point in releasing surely?

 

Maybe GaGa will release another track instead or miss pokerface out then follow the release schedule!?!

 

BTW..Obviouslyits made the chart when people hear it on radio chart show its gonna climb even more I reckon :wub:

 

I wouldn't worry. Shut Up And Let Me Go by the Ting Tings charted the same week that That's Not My Name made it to number one. OK so that wasn't a number one but it only just missed the top 5.

The last time a song made number one from an already released album was 'The Way I Are'...

 

However 'Run' had been out (but only for a couple of weeks and was under entirely different circumstances) and both 'Viva la Vida' and 'All Summer Long' made number one in the week of the albums release.

Hopefully Jordin will climb more, now she's A-List. Woah! For Pokerface :o But could it peak Too Soon?? Unless this get's to number 1 on name alone, I reckon it's chances of number 1 when being released are over TBH!

 

Of course not! I don't know why people say this, it's such a complete myth. If it's this huge now, imagine how huge it will be when properly released as a single.

OMG I feel for Snow Patrol and their stunner of a song. Seriously can someone tell me how long 'Crack the Shutters' has been lurking betwen #37 and #41? A whole month? :/

As for GaGa.. Poker Face is a way better song and I think it has had more global #1s already than what Just Dance has. So imo as a prediction it really is just GaGa vs GaGa this month imo. Kid Cudi, Tinchy Stryder, Lily Allen whoever is getting released over the next month or so are going to have to settle for 2nd place and if Paparazzi is the 3rd single (I don't know what is) that will be a guaranteed top 5. Or 'Starstruck ft Flo Rida'. I'm just a bit concerned about the album not getting the maximum sales/chart placings it deserved with all the singles hype..

But that charted alot lower than top 10 and i think GaGa will most likely get into the top 10 or 5 with pokerface either this week or next, there's soo much hype about GaGa everywhere, I honestly think most people who want to download pokerface would have downloaded already by the time the release date comes along.

I don't think Poker Face will be #1 by the time of it's physical release but will have longevity on the chart instead.

Yes I don't GaGa could overtake them in the official chart, but getting in Itunes top10 would give GA a boost in sales, so the sooner they get into it, the better it is !
