This originally Swansea based quartet highly melodic PowerPop act led by main songwriter Pete Ham will be remembered for being the most saddest and tragic story in Rock'n'Roll history.

Am I the only one on Buzzjack who thinks they were criminally underrated (in 2002 Paul MCCartney dismissed the now most popular melodic rock act of the 21st century Coldplay as a "Third rate Badfinger") & the late Pete Ham was a musical genius?

Nope, I am another who thinks they were a great band, and so unlucky with legal ranglings and the suicides etc. I have their hits album and still listen to it regularly. Their life story would have made a good film, if tragic.

underrated yes, and coldplay arnt fit to be mentioned in the same sentance, but tbh they never really got much of my attention. 'come and get it' was taken over by local skinheads/footy thugs as a goading chant and that put a 13 year old mushboy off them.

upon reflection they are certainly better then i gave them credit for at the time.
