Why would she be dumped, that would be ridicolous, they cant blame the GH and KGB because they were never going to be huge were they.

Christina Aguilera is a woman of many hats. And she may be adding designer to her list of accomplishments.

 

According to several industry sources, Topshop owner Sir Philip Green has been courting Xtina for quite some time now to become the next celebrity designer attached to the London fashion chain.

 

A source tells the Sunday Mirror, “Philip loves her style and believes she would add something new to TopShop. Christina is the blonde bombshell who is into pop whereas Kate [Moss] is the rock chick and model. She’d appeal to a younger shopper than Kate.”

 

Christina will reportedly earn at least $1 million per each range that she designs for Topshop. But don’t worry, Christina’s lines won’t be replacing Kate Moss'. They’re expected to co-exist together at the stores.

 

This is definitely a great career move for Christina. She prides herself on always reinventing herself throughout her career, so here’s her chance to inspire a whole new look for us fashionistas to love!

Of course she does. Despite the complete flop of the GH, and relative underperformance of B2B's, Christina is still a huge worldwide megastar and dropping her would be an absolute catastrophy business-wise.

 

Plus, she's stated herself that she's going for a more electro sound on the new album (due out in the summer, which already guarantees she's still with her label) which has been one of the huge sounds lately (see current #1 on both sides of the Atlantic - Lady GaGa.) and if she can do electro and do it well, then I imagine this project will be quite good for her. ^_^

Christina can def do electro well, and show the new pretenders a thing or two! And Linda Perry producing? It'll rock( or or shock? crackle? :lol:). I don't think it'll be as massive as it perhaps deserves but i think people are going to find that with female electro in general...
