Celine Dion brought a little bit of her Vegas lights to a Nash-vegas show last night. The concert in the round at the Sommet Center was clearly aimed at connecting the star with her fans. And connect they did. Jaws dropped several times during the show, including when the 40-year-old singer threw herself onto the stage with the final note of All By Myself. The crowd went ape. Minus a few technical glitches, each song was pitch perfect, and powerful. And fans who love the down-to-earth star got a glimpse into her quirky, and sometimes goofy personality. For those who counted, Dion made 6 costume changes, and had two encore songs. The Titanic theme My Heart Will Go On closed out the show. Sorry, ladies, Leo DiCaprio not included. This addendum from News 2 ultra-producer Corinne Gensler, who enjoys being curt with me on occasion. At one point, Celine was practically in the crowd on one of her many stage platforms. One of her fans gave her a stuffed animal, in the form of a frog. Celine then started pouring out her heart and soul — to the frog. She ended the song with a kiss for the frog. No prince appeared.
