The reason I chose to use 3 images for the cover is cos there are a lot of different emotions and stories revealed on this album.

After the dark covers of the previous 2 (well 3 if you include The Ballads I guess...) albums I think this is nice and fresh. I also LOVE the Butterfly at the end of her name, hopefully a bit of a return to the sound from that era. So excited for this! :D

"HATE U" demo, sung by The-Dream. Man this sounds hot, and has potential to really smash on Urban/Rhythmic radio. I can't wait to her the final MC version.

Sound good...not amazing but a much better follow up single than Bye Bye thats for sure, hopefully the final version will sound a bi better.

I think Mariah made her on stamp on the song, based on the 30 second LQ clip we've heard. I'm really looking forward to hearing the full HQ version.

Shame that there's such little buzz around this album, we're only around a month away from its release and no one seems overly interested on here, E=MC2 there was loads of discussion around.

Agreed. Since "Obsessed" was premiered, buzz has slowly declined. They should've repressed the single like they did with "Touch My Body", at least then they could've secured her 19th #1 hit. It doesn't look like they're going to release another single before the album, but hopefully "H.A.T.E U" is pure fire and is a hit. I have a feeling this album will be one of her best, artistically that is.

It's a shame her singles flopped hard last era, as it killed the momentum "TEOM" gained.

She says theres loads of emotions and on that cover i see 2!! Happy and ORGASMIC. If the album is anything to go by then :wub:

The reason there's little interest in the album is because we know so little about it. We don't know whats on the album minus 2 tracks.

i can see this album not doing great it will perform like the last album i think unless she does alot or promo which i cant see her doing.

They can't do this really... Just because Obsessed wasn't the smash hit #1 they wanted they can't keep pushing it back until they finally get a hit. I know that may seem sensible, but it's just not fair. :lol: Plus, an album being pushed back basically starts some kind of press frenzy, then the album gets a bad reputation before it's even out and then it bombs. Let's take a look at Nicole Scherzinger (all singles flopped, album was shelved completely), Keri Hilson (a few flop singles, finally a sizeable hit, album released, and is now flopping), 50 Cent (this has been forever pushed back and will flop when released), Kelly Clarkson's "My December" (loads of bad press about the poor quality of the album and in-fighting with her label and the finally tanked when it was released)... I'm not liking the sound of this one bit. :arrr:

 

I just don't even understand what the problem is with Obsessed. I personally think the song is ACE, I can see it appealing to a lot of people, the video is brilliant and funny, she looks hot, it's leaps and bounds better than Touch My Body. So why isn't it huge? I just can't work it out. Don't get me wrong it's been very badly timed all things considered, but there's still time to sort that out... She just needs to get her arse on Oprah or Ellen or Letterman or America's Got Talent... Just SOMETHING! :arrr:
