I actually really like Butterflies, sounds like a US hit. Fairytale's OK, bit weird on first listen, but maybe I'd get into it, but Eurovision songs need to be instant really don't they? I kind of prefer Butterflies (he's not all that anyway!)

 

Edit: Actually I was singing along by the end of it! He's still not all that hot though!

I love the harmonica in Butterflies, you rarely hear them in pop music :lol: the last time I remember liking a song with such an obvious harmonica influence was Rollo & King's Never Ever Let You Go

 

Fairytale is extremely good but a bit different, but Butterflies is an out and out pop song, but could get lost in the pack somewhat if sent to Russia...it's a bit dated, it's a bit like early Delta Goodrem actually, which is perhaps why I like it so much!?!

Butterflies haven't stood out of the MGP for me until now. Specific voice i should say :wub: Still will be VERY sad if ALEX doesn't win NMGP :wub: btw Alexander is born in Minsk, Belarus, our close neighbours :cheer:
