February 8, 200916 yr I have been of this opinion since I first heard the 21 songs :heehee: I'm less of a fortune teller than you, i only predicted Alexander be Top 2 at least :o
February 12, 200916 yr Author I have literally just realised how stunningly high quality Norway's songs have been this decade :o my rankings: 2000 - Charmed - 9/10 2001 - Haldor - 4/10 2002 - criminally missing 2003 - Jostein Hasselgard - 9/10 2004 - Knut Anders Sorum - 7/10 2005 - Wigwam - 6/10 2006 - Christine Guldbrandsen - 9.5/10 2007 - Guri Schanke - 5/10 2008 - Maria Haukaas Storeng - 10/10 2009 - Alexander Rybak or Tone Damli Aaberge - 10/10 wow  only Sweden and Malta come close in terms of consistency
February 12, 200916 yr Malta, Sweden and Norway have been pretty amazing so far this decade tbh...Sweden have been a bit hit-and-miss tbh lately (one amazing year, one not so amazing one going back to 2001 when they bucked the trend and sent something amazing :heehee:), Malta have been amazing since 2001 (with a bit of an off year in 2003), and Norway have been amazing since 2002
February 12, 200916 yr Author Las Vegas was the only Swedish entry I didn't like this decade to be honest :o I loved all of the schlager and The Ark
February 12, 200916 yr I think Charlottw was a bit overrated last year, and there have always been better songs in MF than win it (Hall Om Mig by Nanne should have won instead of Las Vegas!) But I love Malta too. Denmark and Norway I can take or leave, but I love Turkey (apropos of nothing...)
February 12, 200916 yr Author Turkey are so awful for me, I'm yet to ever like one of their entries :puke: I love Hero but Empty Room, Lay Your Love On Me and Just A Minute would have all been more interesting entries for Sweden
February 12, 200916 yr Totally, though I think that Empty Room is a bit overrated... I didn't like Turkey last year, and I only quite like them last year, but before that they are 90-95% fantastic, especially in the old days. They had a particularly amazing and underatted streak from 1980-1989.
February 14, 200916 yr Author 'Last Chance' is on now, wannabe Pink is on at the moment (Surferosa), wannabe Katy Perry (Sunny) and my favourite tone deaf duo Foxy are still to come :kink:
February 14, 200916 yr Author Espen Hana and Surefrosa into the next bit, Ke:Sera and Janni out completely Sunny on now, although she's against Publiners, both songs are great though
February 14, 200916 yr Author Publiners through to the next round, Sunny out the potential BJSC entry that everybody's fighting over by Foxy is on next :heehee: ten minutes until it is probably freed up for use in the BJSC then :P
February 14, 200916 yr Author :o Foxy managing to stay in tune this week, a vast improvement on last week  still one of those songs that works better on record than live and I suspect Jane Helen will beat them again anyway
February 14, 200916 yr Author more boredom to add to the Norwegian final as Espen Hana qualifies... also through to the final 8 is Te Stein by Publiners, which I actually love  so the final 8 is this, with my personal ratings and where they will finish in the final next week: Alexander Rybak - Fairytale // 10/10 // 1st Alexander Stenreud - Find My Girl // 7/10 // 6th Tone Damli Aaberge - Fairytales // 10/10 // 2nd Publiners - Te Stein // 9/10 // 7th Espen Hana - Two Of A Kind // 5/10 // 8th Thomas Brondbo - Det Vart En Storm // 4/10 // 3rd Velvet - Tricky // 8/10 // 4th Ovi - Seven Seconds // 7/10 // 5th surely it's a two horse race between Fairytale and Butterflies!?! the other six are just there to make up the numbers  if they want to finish in their favourite place of last again though, there are about 5 songs in that selection that I believe would do so
February 16, 200916 yr Alexander Rybak is f***in gorgeous. :o He should win on that merit alone! Song's pretty decent though as well.
February 16, 200916 yr  Not my type. But I'm convinced now it has to be their entry. It's so catchy and original. I woke up singing it this morning!
February 21, 200916 yr Author Maria performing a medley of hits on MGP now including Mine All Mine :o  and into a dance remix complete with breakdancers, how weird  possibly my favourite BJSC entry to date :P
February 21, 200916 yr Author anyway...the final 4: Alexander Stenreud :D Publiners  Alexander Rybak   Tone Damli Aaberge    great final 4 to be honest!
February 21, 200916 yr Author Guri Schanke giving points for one of the regions :heehee: Fairtytale in the lead...shocker!
