Would you liketo see Mariah re-releasing a classic single every week like Jacko and Elvis have done previously?

If not now maybe in the distant future?

I don't think she has the scary fanbase that either of those artists has. She may embarass herself with the positions.

 

She should DEFINITELY re-release 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' though. It could make the top ten. Perhaps the proceeds could go to charity as it is the season of goodwill.

I agree with Tim on all points, could you imagine how badly everything would flop?

 

And I agree about AIWFCIY, especially Christmas just gone, it would have been Top20 if it had of been chart eligible and I do believe it would have been Top5 if it had of been re-released physically. -_-

Not wanting to be morbid but those sort of one-off re-releases only happen when an artist has died.

Let's hope there's no such re-release any time soon.

Nope, but I'd like to see her re-release Hero and AIWFCIY. I also think it's about time she stops refusing people the rights to cover her song. Like she refused Kelly Osbourne Dreamlover and I heard she refused Xtina Vision Of Love! Imagine Xtina singing Vision of Love :wub:... but I don't think she'd let anyone ever cover that -_-

I quite like that none of her songs have been covered. I always get annoyed when songs from my childhood are covered and no-one knows about the original.

 

Though perhaps more people would accept Mariah if there were some covers: they'd like the songs because they wouldn't know Mariah had written them. :rolleyes:
