April 19, 200916 yr Author Isnt it out May 1st in UK, rather than the 15th? It's original date was 15th, but they moved it to the 1st. I have to admit, I cried when Trevor broke up with Miley and the rest of that scene, also had a few tears when Hannah took her wig off in front of the crowd!
April 19, 200916 yr Didn't you just love the sliding door scene?? Btw where did you watch it? I noticed your from the UK...

April 25, 200916 yr Miley looked amazing at the London premier last night :o http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...hort-dress.html
April 25, 200916 yr i find it hard to comprehend the fascination for this vile bint... awful woman, simply awful.
April 25, 200916 yr i find it hard to comprehend the fascination for this vile bint... awful woman, simply awful. Agreed... The absolute worst example of "Americana" bollocks that you could ever hope to find, and her father Billy Ray is a vile c/unt for exploiting his daughter in this manner..... The whole "Hannah Montana" thing just completely leaves me cold, and the way that she conducts herself is both vile and completely irresponsible, younger and younger girls are being victimised and targeted for sexual violence and rape, and what does this stupid girl do, poses for photos that make her look to be a 'freshly fukked' piece of jail-bait..... Well, it's all very well for HER, she's got big, muscly MINDERS to stop people from kidnapping, torturing and raping her, god help any ordinary kid who actually even vaguely LOOKS like her and becomes the target for some perv...... <_< The objectification of ever younger girls to feed the Capitalist, mysoginistic fashion industry is VILE, and those who take part in that are utter scum imo.....
April 25, 200916 yr I don't think you can hold Miley Cyrus solely responsible for the kidnap, torture and rape of young girls  I don't even consider Miley to be that young ... she's 16, she's not a child, and she's on her journey to becoming a woman. The thought of her as a eleven year old on her way to superstardom does unsettle me a little, because I'm just not convinced kids can handle fame. But I don't consider Hannah Monatana as a character to be sexualized in any way. Miley on the other hand, is sexy, but she's 16, and girls have been having sex at 16 and younger for a lot longer than before Miley et al came along, I don't think you can really rationalize that young stars are responsible for the demons in society. Take Vanessa Hudgens nude photo scandal as an example of fans awareness. How many of her 7 year old fans do you suppose actually got to see the photo of her naked? Probably hardly any ... and in any case, any who did see it are clearly not being supervised in their Internet viewing to even be able to access that sort of material, in which case, a naked picture of Vanessa Hudgens should be the least of a parent's concern.
April 25, 200916 yr I don't even consider Miley to be that young ... she's 16, she's not a child, and she's on her journey to becoming a woman. 1. She was 15 when she did the now notorious photo-shoot, and even before this she was dressing up and posing for photos that frankly would be more appropriate for celebs in their mid-20s..... And in fact, the average age of photographic models in the 50s, 60s and 70s was indeed early/mid-20s, these days it seems to be younger and younger, which is a bit disturbing imo..... 2. In the US most states have an age of consent of 18, not 16... 3. My main beef is with the media, her father and the fashion industry who exploit her in this manner.... 4. Ask yourself the question - why teenage girls are sexualised in this particular manner in the media and not so much teenage boys..... You will NEVER see a photograph of a 14 or 15 year old, semi-naked boy in the mainstream media in a pose similar to Miley (ie, the "come hither freshly fukked Jailbait" look), think about it.... 5. I would seriously suggest you read Germaine Greer's newspaper article "We Like Our Venuses Young"..... You're an intelligent guy Andy, so, even if you dont agree with my points, I hope you understand why I'm making them.....
May 4, 200916 yr LOL @ how long it's taken me to reply to this. I blame the dissertation ... I think you're right in a lot of aspects, particularly the Lebowitz shoot (although I didn't find that sexual in the way FHM shoots raunchy shots, but looking back it was probably not appropriate), women have always been sexualised by the media more than men, although you're absolutely right to be concerned, I think. It's great that there are people there acting as a gatekeeper for Miley, although we have to hope and assume that there are people in her reality doing the same. Whatever we want to say about Billy Ray selling out his daughter, she seems to be really, genuinely enjoying it. The girl I saw on Jonathan Ross was lively, engaging and challenging, and I don't get the impression Miley doesn't have any control over her life or career. And good for her, she seems to be loving it.

And, er the small matter of the Britney Spears implosion which could easily have seen her dead on a slab, and the tragic death of River Phoenix.... Child stars do NOT tend to lead happy adult lives mate..... Miley seems to be 'enjoying' it because she knows absolutely nothing else, she's not had a normal childhood by any stretch of the imagination.... I've got a very bad feeling that in seven or eight years time we're gonna be reading about Miley ODing on drugs, alcohol, or both.....
May 4, 200916 yr Maybe, but I know of a lot of non-child stars who OD on drugs and alcohol aswell
