January 18, 200916 yr Really sad. I remember him so well from my childhood. Morph was brilliant.
January 18, 200916 yr :( I loved him when I was a kid. I used to send loads of stuff into Hartbeat for the Gallery :(
January 19, 200916 yr another celeb death shock... i watched tony hart from his early 'vision on' days in the 60's... master craftsman, a great inspiration to generations of kids (mine watched him too!) has left us with many fond memories... rip
January 19, 200916 yr A genuinely talented guy who inspired generations of young artists to just go out and express themselves through art, I think just about everyone from a certain generation probably sent in stuff to his shows.... I'm betting the likes of Banksy were originally inspired by Tony's shows to just go out there and "do it" as well.... I think what happened to him with the stroke was the real tragedy though, he became partially paralyzed and it left him unable to pursue his art  For an artist, this really would be worse than death.... I rather think, all things considered, death is more a release for Tony...... RIP indeed, but he has left an incredible legacy....
January 20, 200916 yr This is really sad news! So many children were brought up watching Tony's programmes. He made art so much fun and must have inspired many to become artists.
January 20, 200916 yr Great childrens Tv personality, no scandal just an innovative guy, who made exceptional things with very lttle budgets. RIP
