Good old Obama has the class to use Elvis' (If I Can Dream) as part of his inauguration celebrations.

1957 - Eisenhower had Pat Boone

1977 - Jimmy Carter had Linda Ronstadt, Loretta Lynn, Aretha Franklin, The Marshall Tucker band and the Charlie Daniels band. In the audience (among others) John and Yoko, and Gregg Allman

1981- Regan had Frank Sinatra Dean Martin, Charley Pride and Donny and Marie Osmond.

I can't wait to see coverage of the inauguration. Obama sure has class that those guys didn't ;) Someone certainly did their homework properly in choosing that particular song! What a brilliant choice and so appropriate

Don't think it happened :( At least not on any television coverage of the event.
