February 13, 200916 yr Hiya TT, hiya Billy! ;) Hiya Billy, I'm always popping in here, but lately there's been nobody around, I am guilty of reading way too many books lately and playing scrabble online though. I'm reading 3 books at the same time at the moment: The Reader (it's really good), The Shack (amazing) and a German book about women over 40. :D This last one I need to finish by the end of the month as a friend had lent it to me about 2 years ago   and I promised to give it back in March, whether I'd read it or not! Had a really productive day at work yesterday (exhausting though) and am just generally settling into my job a bit more, so I'm quite happy right now. :D Hope everyone has a great day. :cheer:
February 13, 200916 yr I hope i am still happy later ....going to the dentist at 3pm, i have not been in about 13 years :o :P

February 13, 200916 yr Author I hope i am still happy later ....going to the dentist at 3pm, i have not been in about 13 years :o :P Think I can beat your record. Absolutely petrified of the dentist. Dread to think what the bill would be if I ever got up the courage to go. :o

Absolutely petrified of the dentist. Dread to think what the bill would be if I ever got up the courage to go. :o I think the last time I'd been to the dentist was in 2001 (and before then I hadn't been for something like 17 years ). It's not that I'm petrified, but I like to spend my money on something else. Why should we have to pay £40 or something just for a check-up? After all, going to the GP doesn't cost anything. Okay, going to the GP involves mainly people talking, but having a cyst taken out my back at my GP's a couple years ago, which was minor surgery involving local anaesthetic, didn't cost anything extra! If I had money to spare right now, I probably would go to the dentist. I need a crown, and I suppose a check-up would be good. But it'll have to wait another couple of years, I'd say. Hello. I thought it was something I'd said!!! :o I too love to read more than one book at a time. February 13, 200916 yr You must all have very good teeth. I go every 6 months, and have done since a small child. My mum was always very insistent on it, and when I grew up I just carried on, so that when I moved round the country I always registered with a doctor and a dentist at the same time. February 14, 200916 yr Author Wonderful vocals from Will on the Demot O'Leary show.  Loved his rapport with Dermot. They seem to have a genuine friendship. Felt very tearful when Demot said "the world is a better place with you in it"

February 14, 200916 yr Absolutely beautiful. LIG sung slightly different and even more emotive and Golden Slumbers - what can you say    Loved his chat (it wasn't an interview was it) with Dermot who seemed to have got a touch of the Jeremy Clarksons  Don't know what you're on Martin but hi  Edited February 15, 200916 yr by munchkin
February 15, 200916 yr Hi everyone I know I don't post much, but I do read everyday, honest. :D But I just wanted to say how beautiful that performance was on Dermot's show today. Not being a Beatles fan, I hadn't heard the song before, although I know the original lullaby, Will's version was so moving and a fantastic version of Lig as an added bonus as well.

Hi Marguerite, it's nice to know that you pop in and read everyday and don't feel bad about not posting much, as a lot of the time I don't. Then I'll suddenly go on a mad posting binge, it's all very relaxed and chilled out on here most of the time and a great site to look around on. Will's singing yesterday moved me so much, I think vocally, he couldn't have been any better, beautiful versions of LIG and Golden Slumbers was exquisite.  Edited February 15, 200916 yr by suggy

February 22, 200916 yr I am happy because I got to see Gethin win the Strictly tour on Friday evening and at last lift the glitter ball! He was brilliant and he and Flavia got 40 for their waltz and 39 for the salsa. He gave me a wave and thumbs up when I waved the Welsh flag I had printed off! :cheer:
