March 23, 200916 yr Looks like Will could have sold 10k+ last week. :yahoo: That's even better than I thought he'd do, I wonder what they'll do now TT? call a halt on it or go with a 4th single? or even a re-packaged version in the autumn? He's done ok with his 4th album, but with better airplay he could have done so much better, which annoys me to say the least.
March 23, 200916 yr Author That's even better than I thought he'd do, I wonder what they'll do now TT? call a halt on it or go with a 4th single? or even a re-packaged version in the autumn? He's done ok with his 4th album, but with better airplay he could have done so much better, which annoys me to say the least. I think this may have been the final push for sales though I hope I'm wrong. If the label thought the airplay would be better I'm sure they'd go with a 4th single. :( Just posted this on Devoted. Just been thinking Musicweek published Will's totals sales in 2008 as 410k of which around 65k were his back catalogue. That means Let It Go has sold over 50k this year, which is great considering his poor airplay. As you say with decent airplay that total would be a lot higher. :( It annoys me to see JM is still at #13 on airplay & Will has released another single since then. :arrr:
March 24, 200916 yr Well unless they can guarantee airplay for it, I doubt we'll be getting a 4th release, we'll soon find out though, he'll either be on the release schedule or he won't.
March 30, 200916 yr Just arrived in Melbournw after almost 4000K driving from Brisbane. Home this coming weekend when I hope to pick up on everything Will. Hope everyone is keeping a grin on their faces.

March 31, 200916 yr Thanks TT album sales really are shocking ..to get to #1 on 36k :o His first week sales were 87,030 - it's his second week but it's still low to keep him at #1 - Will had dropped down to #3 on 33K on his second week., Pet Shop Boys couldn't top that in their first week - so sad and bad: 4 N 1 Pet Shop Boys Yes 27,639. That tally does not include the 2,557 copies that were sold through iTunes before the album’s official release date, where a mix-up saw it available for three days But even adding those sales it still only amounts to 30,196. Wonder how much they lost to illegal downloads  Edited March 31, 200916 yr by munchkin
April 2, 200916 yr It'll be good to have you back with us again chrysalis, I hope you've had a great holiday. Well I'm almost there. Just waiting for the car to take us to the airport. It's 7.45 in the evening here and it's been hot, hot, hot to-day - thought I'd collapse. Should be back tomorrow lunchtime UK time, and will hope to be online tomorrow evening. Glad Will's done well with the sales. Have a good day. :naughty:
April 3, 200916 yr Let It Go - 436500 on worldwide albums Thanks to Tillywhim on Devoted for this - another 5,000 since last week. These are estimated - wish we could get some firm sales figures.
April 6, 200916 yr I'm back, but terribly jet-lagged. I wasn't last time I went - perhaps it was the wretched child who started to cry everytime people were nodding off. That leg was 14 hours, and the child was so tired he just wouldn't go to sleep. And I'll never fly Emirates again especially not on their A380. :arrr: Still I had a great time, but I'm glad to be back into more moderate temperatures, and to be able to read the threads without having to worry my AU$5 would run out.

That's good news. Think it was said a while back that this album is a slow-burner, and it seems to be proving so but I've no doubt it will eventually get to the magic number.

April 6, 200916 yr My 16 yo cat has really been missing Thomas since he died 6 months ago ....he has got really thin because he was barely eating :( so decided to get him a new friend, we went to a pet shop and saw they had a kitten i could not believe she was only 6 weeks old [way to young to leave his mum  ] she was on her own in the cage and was so tiny... and though i know it was playing into the shops hands we could not leave her there. She is now 9 weeks old and is an absolute nutter she is the most playful and affectionate cat we have ever had.. hubby did not want to get another one because of how awful he felt when we lost the other 2 but because of Felix getting so ill he gave in [Felix has now started eating again :D ] but hubby now absolutely adores her, i am always getting disapproving looks because i don't give it the attention he thinks she should get

Years ago when one of mine lost their sister - he pined - then I got Yogibear, and nothing was the same ever again. He was such a lovely little character. He loved feet and water!!!
