January 20, 200916 yr really annoyed that she's not been nominated in the best female category, she clearly is best female!!!! is she up for any grammy's????
January 20, 200916 yr Author Yep, here is what she has been nominated for in the Grammy's: Record Of The Year - Bleeding Love Best Female Pop Vocal Performance - Bleeding Love Best Pop Vocal Album - Spirit
January 20, 200916 yr really annoyed that she's not been nominated in the best female category, she clearly is best female!!!! is she up for any grammy's???? I don't think she was eligible for Best Female this year because she didn't release a new album. Hopefully album #2 will be a smash and she will be nominated for Best Female at the 2010 BRITs. She deserves that award, well she deserved it last year IMO but oh well.
January 20, 200916 yr Author I really want her to win this award in the Brits, but I think she will lose out from the competition. Also she should have won all 4 awards last year. :(
January 20, 200916 yr She really deserved Best Female last year IMO Is she likely to win any of those grammys?
January 20, 200916 yr Author She really deserved Best Female last year IMO Is she likely to win any of those grammys? I hope she can win all of them, but I think she might be able to get Record Of The Year.
January 20, 200916 yr She really deserved Best Female last year IMO Is she likely to win any of those grammys? I think she's a shoe in for Pop Vocal Performance. That's general feeling. Pop Vocal Album will probably go to The Eagles, and while Record of the Year is definitely a possibility, I think Viva La Vida has this one. Leona had the bigger hit, but these are same bunch who voted Clocks Record of the Year at the Grammys in 04. VLV is such a Grammy winning song. Her BNA snub is very telling, so she might walk away with nothing. At least she got nominated, right? UGH. ;) Edited January 20, 200916 yr by AAC
January 20, 200916 yr She really deserved Best Female last year IMO Is she likely to win any of those grammys? If there is any justice she will get at least one but I'm not sure. Best Female Pop Vocal Performance should be guaranteed but after the BRITs last year I never expect her to win anything.
January 20, 200916 yr If there is any justice she will get at least one but I'm not sure. Best Female Pop Vocal Performance should be guaranteed but after the BRITs last year I never expect her to win anything. Exactly. Nothing's guaranteed with Leona, however successful she is. After the BNA snub it's definitely not a good sign going into the Grammys. I mean, of all the awards not to be nominated for, it seems so criminal for her to be snubbed for THAT award. She's had so much success; way more than a lot of the nominees in that catagory.

Plus the Jonas Brothers who are on their third album nominated for Best New Artist. !!
January 21, 200916 yr Author Because of the Brits, Better In Time will probably re-enter my personal chart!
January 21, 200916 yr Exactly. Plus the Jonas Brothers who are on their third album nominated for Best New Artist. !! Don't get me started. I know people love to rant and all, but my blood REALLY does boil when I think of the Jonas Brothers being chosen over Leona, LOL. That makes the entire BNA category lose all credibility. I think *everyone* knows that though. Edited January 21, 200916 yr by AAC
January 23, 200916 yr Author Voting for British Single will start on 2nd February and finish on 13th February. :)
January 27, 200916 yr I have a feeling she's going to snub the Grammys. A source on Pulse advised she's only performing at the Pre-Grammy show. Makes sense. J Records must be pissed at the BNA snub. It's not even like they can defend it by using the old "we only are interested in artistic, creative music" as they've nominated the Jonas Brothers and Katy Perry. Gimme a break.
January 27, 200916 yr No chance she will snub them. She'll be there for sure even if she's not performing. (which it looks like she isn't.) I hope the pre-Grammy party performance is good. :) I wonder what she'll sing.

It could be the other way round, though. It's just all so baffling. I mean, I could *so* understand if she hadn't made such an impact. I'm not saying this as a blind Leona fan, either.

January 28, 200916 yr Author I read on the Official Leona Lewis Forum that she will be performing Run at the Grammy's. :o
