I saw this last night and posted it on a few TT sites. I am seriously going off Take That now. I am sick and tired of them apologising over Rob! What the hell do they have to feel guilty about. They weren't much older than him themselves and yet they beat themselves up for not 'nurse-maiding' him.

I'm starting to believe that they actually DO have to mention his bloody name every time now! Grow some balls TT ... Rob fans will never like you no matter what. You don't need Rob and you don't need his fans!

Judas Priest ... another thing ... there are boys out there not much older than Rob ... fighting for their country and getting maimed and killed in the process ... all he had to cry about was 'ooohhh I wanna be in Oasis ... me don't want boyband'

I've come to the conclusion that all five of them, Gary, Mark, Howard, Jason and Rob are just attention seeking WA NKERS!

They are asked obsesively about Robbie. Every time when they are in Germany they are asked again and again :puke2: . And if they only answer one question about him the title of the article has to mention it.... I bet that they were asked here this time again and the other questions went cut and only the bloody questions about Robbie remain.

I don't think they love to speak about it. Especially Mark opens very little about it. And Howard is actually quite cold when he speaks about reunion with Robbie.

They really don't need Robbie to make news in UK, isn't it? So i don't see that they use that, but they are too normal and down -to-earth, so the poor journalist looking for sensational news has to go in Robbi's story once again, hoping they will lose the nerves  (like i would do, for example :w00t: ).

As the same news are repeated over and over in the other magazines, just don't read the news and hear more the music. The love will come back  ...

I am actually more upset that they release the new single in march, losing the momentum of Brits.

Well I just wish they'd say 'no comment' when asked - they don't have to be nice all the time. I bet Rob doesn't apologise for all the sh it he gave out when he's interviewed non-stop with his tour and album ... he'll probably call them sh it again like he always does. Leopards don't change their spots. I know somewhere else (in Attitude Magazine - which is usually quite accurate - so it isn't a misquote) Mark said that Robbie was instrumental in them getting together. He says Jason asked Robbie for advice on whether he should join again (as he had been the most reticent) and Robbie said 'just go for it'. Now either Mark is too dumb or just too naive to realise that the only reason Rob said 'go for it' was that he was hoping for it to be a total failure so he could taunt them again in his shows. Why can't they see through him? What spell does he hold over them? They spent some time with him in LA over the summer ... do they really think he'd have given them the time of day if they'd have flopped? He's a superstar as Bond Bug would say!

Iris - by the way - the new video is to be shown next Tuesday on British TV ... so expect it on Youtube shortly after!

I think Mark has a good dosis of naivity in him and for Jason family is very important and he considers TT as a kind of family (i think that is also the only reason he agreed to come-back). But i don't think either Gary and Howard are naiv, but Gary cannot afford to say anyrthing against Robbie. Do you remeber after the Broits 2007 how the press slagged them down that they said nothing about Robbie - why should have they said something actually when picking an award for a song with which Robbie had nothing to do? But so is the british media , and TT learned the rules to well when they were slagged back in the days.

You're right of course, whilst Robbie can insult them as much as he likes without reproach, because he is after all, a Superstar and a Cheeky Chappy to-boot! Take That can't say anything at all about him.

That's why the only person with nothing to lose in 'telling the whole truth' is Nigel Martin Smith! Please Nigel ... write a book!

Norma

I wonder why he didn't wrote a book till now? But perhaps being the manager doesn't mean he knew to much. I am sure the bodyguards knew more :naughty: .

i agree with iris if gary for examlpe says no comment on robbie the press will explode and start the battle off again, the lads are cleverly not given journalists anything negative to say when they are asked about robbie and by doing that its the best way of them getting past the robbie thing, the robbie/take that works in both acts favour as its keeping them all in the press and the nearer it comes to robbie;s comeback the more the whole take that/robbie thing will come up,

to be honest it doesnt bother me at all when the lads dont say an awful alot about robbie, for me take that is more about the music than anything so the interviews etc dont affect what i think of their songs,,i like their personalities and they seem quiet nice people but its all about the music for me

I think you're right ... it would be daft of them to either ignore or slag off Robbie. They aren't 'cheeky chappies'!

also they probably have their own demons they want to solve from that era and he was part of the era when they all became famous and thrusted into the world of fame,

True again! Rob is a demon I'd want to dispel from my past!

To be honest though, as much as I detest Rob ... if they want to be friends then so be it. I should point out though ... that I detested Robbie Williams LONG BEFORE I started liking Take That. I just don't like the bloke. I think he is a bit of a misogynist and I truly doubt his song-writing abilities. If question marks hang over the writing of Angels ... then who knows what question marks hang over anything else he is supposed to have written!

I just wish they'd stop apologising!

i never liked robbie myself either even when he was in take that he was always my least faveourite as he seemed cocky and arrogant but i agree if they are freinds and do make up its great for all of them

It was written in The Sun, who says it's true anyway... honestly, I don't trust a damn thing any of the tabloids say about anything.

And if they did say what's reported they said; I'm guessing either that was the only thing the papers picked up on, it was twisted to high heaven or they don't want to give the tabloids a field day by saying anything bad about Rob.

Still think it's all nonsense though.

They do actually express regret in that they didn't pick up 'signs' of his behaviour but a lot of it has been taken out of all context. For example the bit where Gary mentions Rob, Dublin and his mum is totally wrong ... the paragraph that comes from is actually hilarious and it is more about Maurice - Gary's butler at the time  not Rob!
