Do such things even exist - I don't recall ever seeing them before?

 

I'm quite sure it does, because I recall Natalie Imbruglia was the #1 of 2005 with Shiver.

They are produced and MW used to print them. They did not this year and can't recall about last year. I don't know if the Charts Plus YE special will have them.

I think Shine was #1 in 2007? So I think they did get printed previously.

I don't know where I got that from though

Ruby was the #1 track of 2007, while Shine was the #1 most played.

 

The year end #1 of 2008 is definitely Duffy's Mercy.

Isn’t this a bit pointless when virtually all the songs were released to radio in 2007 or the first 3 months of 2008?

 

A song can be equally successful on the airwaves in the second part of the year but because of an arbitrary cut off at the end of December doesn’t register…

Love Song did incredibly well then, and deservedly so :wub:
